Suki's POV

"So what's new?", I smiled awkwardly as Aang and I were reading over our menu's in silence, his eyes narrowed as he focused on the laminated paper, I swear to god this boy needs some glasses.

"Well, everyone seems to know I'm the you know what, that's pretty knew", he huffed, I understand if he feels betrayed by his friends, but he's got to understand why we hid it from him, and it's not like the secret got out of hand or anything.

"Yeah heh crazy", I moved my menu up a little more to hide my face, gotta flip the subject onto something else. "Uhh you and Katara good?", I pretended to read as I asked, making it sound casual.

He didn't say anything for a moment until he dropped his menu and sighed, "I think I kicked her out", He looked at me like he desperately needed my help all of a sudden, Suki the agony aunt is in the house.

"What!? Why!?", Both my eyes widened and as I let go of my menu, why would he kick her out?? It can't be about The Avatar thing, she's probably the most supportive person to have around right now.

"I don't know, I was just hurt, it's a big deal for me, and because she knew that and continued to hide it from me, y'know it was just an extra stab in the back", He explained looking genuinely hurt. He's a glass full to the brim kinda guy, so being such a happy go lucky soul, it hurts me if he's hurt. You just want to squish his face and tell him everything is okay.

I'm normal I swear.

"Okay I get that, but pushing one of the only people you allow to get that close to you away? That can't be a good thing", I bit my lip trying to give him the truth as nicely as I can.

"Yeah I know, I'll talk to her tomorrow, she's staying back at Sokka and Toph's apartment so she's not too far if I need her", He smiled lightly and looked back at the menu, assuming that conversation is over.

"No I think you should try and talk to her tonight, you don't want to see her walking away, there are many people in this city who would do anything for such a sweet and supportive partner as her, and if she isn't around, how would that affect The Avatar", I frowned trying to get his attention again, honestly if we see him going all white eyed and glowing again, we wouldn't be able to stop him.

He glanced up from his menu but didn't say anything, he definitely heard me, but he's clearly still unhappy about this whole situation, I'll drop it for now- wait.

"I've just had a lightbulb moment", I beamed as I reached across the table and grabbed both of Aang's arms, he may hate this idea but it would certainly work for me.

"I'm definitely not going to go clubbing to get over her, we've tried that before when I was sad about my neighbours cat dying and it didn't help, I'll never forget Mrs Meow-gret claw-ington the fluffiest-of-buts III, she was different from the first two", Aang fell further into his moment of deep sadness after remembering something that is absolutely irrelevant.

"You are all alone in that lovely spacious apartment of yours, how about I move back in and we can have fun like before? C'mon you know you'll love Suki's Singing Saturdays, you better still have my karaoke machine by the way", I ignored him but kept a smile on my face. Aang and I had an amazing living routine when I was at his, much more relaxed then Ty Lee's and I's living arrangements.

"Um", he didn't seem sure as he processed the idea then took a deep breath. "Alright a couple days at mine but that's only because I miss you, I feel like you're really improving at Ty Lee's even if you don't like it too much, I haven't seen you this happy in a while and I'm sure Ty Lee has something to do with it", He answered, returning the smile.

I guess I have felt a lot better, I owe some gratitude to Ty Lee for being a really good friend after I basically threw myself at her and haven't left her house since. He's right I shouldn't fully leave, but some time apart will do us both good.
