"Ha Ha, I win again Haddock." I say. I hope off (d/n), and startto play with her.
"Oh yea, yea, whatever, you got a head start on me." Hiccup says hoping off Toothless and starts to play with him as well. I grab some fresh grass and rub it on (d/n)'s snout. When she sniffs the fresh grass, she instantly starts to purr and act like she's drunk. Its funny watching to be honest. I do the same with Toothless. Toothless and (d/n) strut off to the back of the Haddock household and wait for their dinner.
We walk into he house and to our suprise, Valka is cooking.
"Oh, hello dearies, how was training (y/n)? Oh who am I kidding, you beat my son for crying out loud. I am so amzed by your hand to hand combat skills. Where did you learn to fight like that?" Valka exclaimed.
"Whoa, mom, one question at a time. Lets eat and discuss it over dinner shall we. Let's just hope we don't die from food poisoning first." Hiccup says chuckling a bit. Thats when Valka hits him upside the head as he walks by hear. I try my hardest to keep in a laugh. We walk over to the table and sit ourselves down as Valka presents us with her food.
One word to describe how it looks: Disgusting.
Me and Hiccup look at one another with scared looks on our faces. We look back at the food presented in front of ourselves and we bravely take a bite. The moment that food touched my taste buds, I instantly wanted to puke, but put up a fake smile. With Valka satisfied with our fake smiles, when she turns our, Hiccup and I spit the food out and throw it out the window behind us. Where tiny terrrible terrors devor the food.
"So, (y/n), where did ye learn to fight so well?" Valka asks.
"Oh, my home village was Solaria and my parents trained me non staop to be the best female fighter. I was well known all over the village." I state.
"Oh that's wonderful. And no wonder you and Hiccup get along so well, Solarians are known for their creativity." Valka states.
"Yea, my parents treated me well." I say nervously. Hoping no one would noticed. But Valka did.
"What, is it dear, something wrong?" Valka asks. I look into her forest green eyes, I never noticed her eyes, but now I know where Hiccup get his's from. When I meet Valka's worried expression, she reminds me of my mother. That's when I break.
"Dear what's wrong? What happened on Solaria dear." Valka asks while holding my shaking body. I can see Hiccup out of the corner of my eye, looking at me so worried.
"Well, um, my parents are dead, and and,....the village blamed me for their death incident in whitewash not true, but..... I'm sorry." I state and run out of the room and outside.I call (d/n) and fly into the forest. We keep flying until we come upon a small cove with a waterfall leading into a small pond. Roots of giant trees are exposed within the cove. I run over to two rocks where an old shield is stuck between them and is covered with moss and vines. I lean my back up against the shield and begin to cry at the memory of my parents. (d/n) sees my distress and lays her head on my lap and purrs and hums.
"I'm sorry girl, I'm just so upset. About it. I didn't cause my parents death. I only witnessed as my parents help me with a project of mine."
