Chapter 35

Hiccup's POV

I could feel the tips of her lips when..

Something knocked me done and started to lick me. I jerked my eyes open to see Toothless licking me.

"AHHHH Toothless you know that doesn't wash out!!' I exclaim. Once I got the giant reptile off me, I try to wipe of the silva off, and glance over at (y/n) to see her blushing and giggling at the same time, it was.....

Cute.

When I saw he blushing, I now remember what was about to happen moments ago and feel as if my face is going up in flames.

"Hehe, well I guess it is getting late. I didn't realize how long we were gone. We better get back uh." I say.

"Oh, uh, we probably should." (y/n) said, blushing still.

"Wait, if Toothless is here, where's (d/n)?" I asked her.

"Oh, uh, maybe she was still asleep when Toothless left, she is a heavy sleeper." (y/n) says giggling.

"Well, let's get back then, maybe she'll be awake when we do. Maybe you guys can play before it gets to where we have to o to bed." I say hoping on Toothless. I stretch out my hand for her to take. She looks at me for a moment and takes my hand with that smile of hers. gods I'm falling.

I lift her up behind me.

"Let's go bud." I say as Toothless takes off. At the sudden take off, I feel (y/n)'s arms fly around my torso, causing me not to breathe slightly.

"Uh......(y/n).......can't.......breathe." I breathe out. She looks ups at me and blushes when she realizes she's squeezing the life out of me. She loosened her grip on me and I was finally able to breathe.

"Sorry about not warning you at the sudden take off." I say to her above the wind.

"No, its okay. I should have figured since Toothless is a excited dragon when flying, you know, I see how you guys love to fly." She says.

"Yea, hey, how about, when we get back to camp, right before we go to sleep, I'll tell you all about my adventures I've had." I say turning to face her.

"Yea, that sound nice." She says.

"Okay, we back at camp. Hang on." I say as Toothless dives down. I feel (y/n)'s grip tighten slightly, but soon loosen when we land

"AH there you two are, (y/n), (d/n) has been injured, its nots major, but she won't sit still for us to treat the wound." My mom says when she came running up to us. I get off Toothless and grab (y/n) by her waist to help her down.

"Lead the way Valka." (y/n) say.

"I'll meet you later Hiccup okay." (y/n) says.

"I'll meet you over there." I say as she runs off with my mother.

"Did, you know about this?" I ask Toothless. She shakes his head no.

"(d/n) must have gotten injured when you was gone looking for us.

Your POV

I follow Valka over to where (d/n) was. I could tell she has made a trail because of some of the vikings cleaning up the mess she's made throughout the camp. I spoke up a few 'sorries' and 'my apologies' to the vikings. I heard a bunch of 'its alright' and 'we get these kind of things a lot don't worry about it' from some vikings. I see (d/n) up ahead avoiding some vikings medicine.

"(d/n)!!" I shout. She turns her head towards my direction, but she kept wincing as she runs over. When she's in front of me, I start to stroke her neck and pet her snout.

I look down at her leg and see a slightly large cut on her leg, it went from her ankle, close to the tip of her foot.

"Come on (d/n), let's get you treated up, okay." I say to her.

"(d/n), can you walk on your back legs for me please. That way you won't further worsen your wounds please." I tell her to do. She does as she's told and walks on her back legs as if she as all her life. When I learned she could do this so well I nearly passed out. As I lead her to into the cave where I could treat her wound I see Snoutlout looking through my journal I had out the day before I got injured, my head is doing much better. It hurts less, and I don't get headaches as often.

"And what do you think your doing Snoutlout?" I ask with my arms crossed across my chest. I sense (d/n) copy my actions which probably looks cute and adorable by the way. When  spoke up, I scared Snoutlout out of his wits. Like he had any in the first place, he's a flirt and creep.

"Jeez, oh, uh (y/n), hey what's up, how's your head." He says hiding the journal behind his back and changing the subject.

"Don't change the subject Snoutlout, what was you doing with my journal?" I ask again, a bit harsher.

"Ugh, look I was looking for Hiccup, so I came in here. I noticed he wasn't in here, but I noticed there was a journal. I thought it was Hiccup's so I took a peek at it. When I opened it, I realized that is wasn't, but I could get my eyes out of the book." he answered.

"And yet, when you realized it wasn't, you kept looking at it without a second thought!" I exclaim holding the bridge of my nose in aggravation.

That's when I heard footsteps come into the cave. I turn to see Fishlegs.

"Hey guys, Valka sent me over to help you (y/n) with (d/n). If you don't mind. Wait why's Snoutlout here?" Fishlegs asked.

"Snoutlout was going through my journal thinking it was Hiccup's." I state.

"Snoutlout, you know Hiccup never goes anywhere without his journal." Fishlegs stated. When I heard this I turned quickly towards Snoutlout to see his face was a pure red.

"Snoutlout!!" I yell chasing and beating hi out of the cave.

"Ill get him later. Come on Fishlegs lets treat (d/n)'s wound." I say looking threw one of my bags.
