Chapter 96

NEXT DAY ( 4 More days until the wedding )

Hiccup's POV

Today will be my last day with (y/n) until the wedding so I'm planning on having a nice day out flying before we separate for 2 days until the wedding.

When I woke up I saw the beauty I'll be marrying in 3 days due time.

She was still asleep in my sweater which was quite large on her. Her (h/c) hair was spread out all across the pillow behind her while her two arms wrapped around my torso with one across my bare chest to my shoulder. I piece of hair fell slightly in front of her peaceful face. I took my hand and gently moved it out of her face, while cupping her face in the same hand. I rubbed my thumb across her cheek getting a smile from her peaceful sleeping face. She snuggles closer to my body burying her head in the crook of my neck. I smiled that I'll be marrying this beauty, this angel, this rare, unique jewel in a cave full of darkness.

I kissed the top of her head and waited patiently for her to wake up which didn't take long. Her beautiful (e/c) orbs fluttered open. She removed her head form the crook of my neck and look up at me with her chin resting on my chest.

"Good morning a m'lady." I greet in a hush whisper because the dragons are still asleep downstairs.

"Good morning Haddock." She grinned.

I kissed her nose and watch her cute face scrunch up like a little child.

I sit up causing her to be in my lap and my arms supporting my weight behind me. Her arms wrap around my neck as she gives me a good morning kiss. I gladly accept while cupping other face with one hand.

"We are going out today." I state.

"Oh and where might we be going Haddock?" She questions.

"Just fly around, maybe good off, something fun." I say.

We get up and get dressed and go downstairs to find our dragons just now waking up from their slumber while grasping one another.

After eating g a light breakfast and saddling up the dragons we quickly head out. The whole village is still asleep which was a good thing since we would probably be bombarded with so many people.

After taking flight to the sky we started to do a trick contest.

"Alright I'll go first." I yell over the wind.

Me and Toothless fly further ahead as I unlatch myself from the saddle. I put Toothless self flying tail wing for this trick, so I jump from the saddle letting myself free fall. I straighten my body as I see Toothless doing the same, I look at him and he looks at me and give me a toothless smile while his tongue flies out. I chuckle at the care free dragon. I fall further down as Toothless gets farther from me, I take out my Inferno and start to realize Zippleback has in a spiral formation. After emptying the little tank within I light it, giving the signal for Toothless to rush through the middle of the spirals and chasing after me and catching me before I hit be ocean.

I fly back up to (y/n) and (d/n) and smile confidently at my trick.

"Beat that." I say cockily.

She grins and flies farther from me. She stands up on (d/n) and flips off of her causing her to go into a diving formation. She flips her body where she faces (d/n) and (d/n) catches her as she heads up toward the clouds and incredible speed. They disappear into the clouds and I'm left confused along with Toothless. Soon, moments later, they clouds start to quickly form a new shapes, I see movement in the clouds causing the new shape. More movements and shaping later, the clouds as formed the Night Fury symbol with the sky as a cloud.

(Y/n) looks at me with a winning smile on her face.

"Tie?" I ask.

She laughs and nods.

We fly for a bit longer until we come upon a cliff on the other side of Berk. We land there to see we've been goofing off in the sky for almost all day letting us catch the sunset. 

"I had fun today." She says Latin her head on my shoulder as wet sit down in the tall grass with our dragons beside us.

"Yea. Me too." I kiss her head and we watch the sunset in a comfortable silence until it's completely gone and he moon and stars show.

"You know, it will be a full moon too the night of our wedding." She says.

"Well that will make it even more special." I say.

"I'll miss you over 2 days!" I whine, wrapping my arms around her waist and burying. My head into her stomach.

"Oh, I think the might Hiccup Horrendous Haddock can survive 2 days without seeing me, but I'll miss you too." She retorts, kissing my head. I pull her onto me where I'm laying down on my back and her onto of me.

"I hope so." I whisper m. I bring her face closer to mine as we share a passionate kiss. The kiss soon turned heated as it turns into a full out make it session.

Hey, I'll won't see her for 2 days straight. Got to get what I can in that's worth 2 whole days.
