Why Me? (Older Hiccup and Reader)

Chapter 69

Next Morning

Your POV

I felt someone poking me. I groan and snuggle closer to a hard chest, burying my face in the crook of the body's neck. I feel another poke on my leg. I ignore it.

Poke. Poke. Poke. Poke. 

I finally loose my patients and sit up to see my little white Night Fury looking up at me all innocently. 

Then it hits me. We're leaving today. I try to get up, but I'm pulled back down by a strong grip around my waist. I'm pulled into a hard chest as I feel a hot breathe go down my neck making me shiver. I feel a blush come to my cheeks. I feel a pair of soft lips on the side of my neck as they trail up my neck meeting my cheek. I giggle, because of how soft and ticklish the kisses feel. 

"Your cute when you giggle and blush." I hear a husky tone in my ear. I turn my head to see a messy aired auburn haired chief. I smile and kiss his cheek. I realize his grip from my waist and start to get dressed. I hear Hiccup do the same. When we finished, we had a quick breakfast, fed our dragons and head out to wake up the other. Hiccup said he'll get the twins and Snoutlout, while I got Fishlegs and Astrid. 

When I walked up to Fishlegs hut I heard rustling. I knocked on the door and heard running come towards the door. 

When the door swung open, I see Astrid?

"Uh...well...is Fishlegs here?" I ask. Mentally slapping myself. Most likely (y/n), you idiot. 

She nods.

"Uh, well....Hiccup says to get ready." I say. She nods her head again and I nod and walk off. I  hear the door shut behind me. 

Hope they didn't do anything too drastic. 

I walk back to the dome to see the rest of the gang and their dragons packing and adjusting a few things before take off. I walk up to (d/n) who was chasing a butterfly. I smile at her childish behavior and whistle her over. 

"Okay, girl, let's see if we need to do anything before take off alright." I say smiling at her. She nods.

TAKE OFF PREP SKIP

After a while Astrid and Fishlegs came along and I could see redness in their cheeks. Oh, well, I kind of figured what they did. I could tell from Fishlegs body language that they just had a make out session. Nothing, too over board, thank the gods. They're still too young. 

I finish the last adjustment on the saddle and sigh in relief. 

"Ready to go everyone?" Hiccup asks. Everyone gives a 'yea' or 'ready'. We all mount on as I take one last look at the island. 

"We'll be back soon, don't worry." I hear Hiccup beside me. I look over to see him smiling at me. I smile back and take one last look at the scenery before me. 

"Let's go then." I say. 

We all take of into the sky, waving goodbye to all the Night Terrors and Speed Stingers. The Speed Stingers decided to stay at the outpost. They wanted to make a home of their own somewhere near by, and we gladly offered them to do so. The Alpha had healed and was now protecting his family once more and keeping the peace between the other Speed Stingers. 

Sounds like a certain someone to me. 

"To Berk!" I hear Hiccup yell over the wind. 

"To Berk!" Everyone yells. 

Back to a place I can call home.

I'm sorry this is short guys. I'm having to babysit for my Aunt today, and for the rest of the week while she's away on a small vacation with her husband, so don't be surprised if the chapters are short alright. 

KIDS ARE A HAND FULL.
