Why Me? (Older Hiccup and Reader)

Chapter 70

Your POV

It's getting late, and we're still not back at Berk. We would have been there sooner if the Twins and Snoutlout stopped fighting each other and constantly knocking each other off their dragons. 

Sometimes they are mature and other times they are the complete opposites. I think they might be bipolar. (NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE WHO IS)

"Guys, quit fighting or all three of you get to clean out the stables for a month!" Hiccup threatens.

And with that all three shut up real fast. I giggle a little at their sudden stop. 

I turned my focus back to the clouds that surround us. We we're high up in the clouds. I was admiring all the pretty colors throughout the sky and in the clouds. I fly down below the clouds to see if their are any sea-class dragons out. When I do I tell Hiccup where I'm going and said I'll be back real quick. 

As I fly down, well before I fly down, me and (d/n) fly high in the clouds. I look down to see Hiccup smirking in the distance. We turn and dive down. At high speeds I pass by Snoutlout causing him and HookFang to shake a bit. 

As I'm below the clouds I look around to see no dragons. 

Aw. I was hopping to fly under their wings when they came to the surface. Hiccup was telling me one day he and Toothless flew so close to the water that they didn't realize they flew under a ThunderDrum's wing. 

I was making my way back up to the clouds before I see a ship in the distance. 

'Uh, what's a ship doing way out here?' I wonder. Before I move closer, I fly up into the clouds a little to take some cover. As Im over the ship I see a bunch of exotic items aboard. 

'Uh. Is it trader Johann?' I question. I see two people on board and that's when I see a metallic dragon and a hooded figure. 

Then the hooded figure holds a axe to his throat in a threatening way. I can't let this go on any longer. 

I signal (d/n) to fly down as fast as she can. She does and when we are a good few feet from the board of the ship I jump off. I land on my feet, tucking and rolling while pulling out my Inferno. I stand between the hooded figure and Trader Johann with (d/n) protecting him. 

"Ah, Miss (y/n). Pleasant surprise to see you here." I hear Johann say. 

"Go away, me and Johann have business to discuss." The hooded figure speaks up. Based on the height, size, and the voice, its a girl. 

"Really, because it looked more like you was threatening to kill him. I don't my friends die. Especially ones that's helped me." I say smirking. I hold my Inferno in front of me pointing at the figure. Suddenly, the girl's axe turns into this double speared axe.

'Cool.' I think. She lets out a cry and rushes at me. I block the attack with my sword and dodge the next swing. I move behind her and make a 'attempt' to swing at her. When she turns, she goes to block my 'attack', but I knock her off her feet causing her to fall to the ground. 

Suddenly I'm covered in metal spikes and stick to the brass of the ship. I look to see that the metallic dragon had thrown spikes at me like a Deadly Nadder. 

'Wait, metal like dragon? Wait, thats a RazorWhip!' I think. My thoughts are cut off when I'm set free by (d/n). I signal her to go back to Trader Johann. He nods and rushes over to protect while I find my sword I dropped earlier. I turn to see the girl charging at me. 

I duck and roll under the swing. I look around some more to find my sword near the edge of the ship. I run towards it. I'm pushed down as I held my Inferno in my grasp. I lay on my back letting out a fierce cry of pain. My back might be better than before and more healed, but it still hurt like a berserker. 

The girl brings her axe down. I block the attack putting all my strength into pushing her axe back from not reaching my throat. 

I see (d/n) panicing, but she sees my eye contact and reads my expression. I know she doesn't like what I'm about to do, but I have to unless I want to die. 

I look up at the hooded figure to see she had long black hair and green eyes. I smile at her. She looks confused, but I don't. 

I retract my blade as I roll under her. She stumbles forward. I grab her axe and throw it to the side as I grab her by the back of her hood jerking the old from her face. I turn her around and hold her by her collar and point my now visible flaming blade. 

"Now, why was you threatening Trader Johann?" I question. That's when I hear thumps from behind me. 

I look behind me still pointing my sword at the girl to see the gang.

"Heather?" Hiccup questioned.

"Hiccup?" The girl named 'Heather' questions back. I look back and forth between Heather and Hiccup.

"You know each other?" I question.

Jeez. These kids are killing me. I just got to hold up for a few more day though. They kept bothering me while I typed this, but I was able to get them to leave me alone by 'who can leave their cousin the longest' game. They are really young and competitive so it was easy for them to believe in the game.
