After we got finished with practice Eddie dropped me off at home and I went to my room to do homework. I hear a nock at my window and I ignore it thinking it's just the wind. I hear it again and I sigh. I open my curtains to reveal the face of Steve Harrington. I open my window and he crawls into my room.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask him quietly. "I need your help with something." He says and I sigh. "What is it?" I ask getting worried that Billy or my dad would come into my room.
"What would you say if I told you one of your sisters friends found an interdimensional slug that slowly keeps growing and will eventually turn into a monster?" Steve asks and I stand there in shock. "I would say you're crazy." I reply with a laugh. "What if I was telling the truth?" He asks me seriously. "Very funny Harrington." I say with a shake of my head. He looks at me and my mouth falls open. "You're telling the truth?" I ask shocked. He nods and I hear footsteps coming towards my room. "Shit hide." I say as I rush to my door.
"Hey is someone here I thought I heard you talking to someone?" Billy asks as he looks into my room. "No, nope, no one is here." I say doing a terrible job at lying. "Smooth sis." He says sarcastically. "I was talking to myself okay." I say defensively and he holds his hands up in a mock surrender. "Just go back to lifting weights or smoking or something." I say as I push him out of my room. "Rude." He says and I slam my door shut.
"That was the worst job at lying I have ever seen." Steve says as he stands up from beside my bed. "Shut up Harrington." I say as I lightly hit his shoulder. "So what were you talking about with this 'interdimensional slug' thing." I say using air quotes. "You might want to sit down for this." Steve says as he gestures to my bed. I give him a wierd look and sit down on my bed as he does the same.
