Jen's POV
I reached for my childhood door handle, anxious to open and see who or what was waiting for me on the other side.
I had so many memories in this house, so many high's and low's. It was where I felt most at home, my ultimate comfort zone. I hoped I was about to add another high to my love for this house.
I pushed the door open slowly, my heart beating as I took in the sight of my birthday wish...him.
"You didn't think I would really miss your birthday did you?" He walked towards me, pulling me into his chest.
"Harry," I sobbed into him. The whole thing had me so emotional, in the best way. Thinking he wouldn't come, to his scavenger hunt, to him now holding me in the second place I felt most at home, his arms.
"What's wrong, why are you crying?" He pulled back and smiled, wiping my tears away with his thumb.
"Why do you think?" I laughed at my own state.
"Happy tears I hope! I'm guessing my little hunt was a success," he beamed, satisfied with his efforts today.
"It was amazing, trust you to come up with something as thoughtful as that. You really picked the best places, but I can't help but think someone helped you out," I pointed out, suspicious on who helped him organise this, and how they all managed to keep it from me.
"I may have had some help from a few people, but that doesn't matter right now, the only thing I want you to do is come with me," he held his hand out, waiting for me to take it.
"Where are we going?" I took his hand as he pulled me along up the stairs.
"I just want your opinion on something," he answered, opening up the door to my childhood room.
"Any particular reason we're in this room?" I questioned him.
"Should I write another poem about how sentimental this is to us?" He joked, referring to his previous clues.
"No, the reason I brought you here is because I have a question for you. Now you don't have to say yes, but I really think this would be the perfect room for the baby.
This was your childhood room, so I thought it would be nice if our baby grew up in the same room their mother did. If you're not comfortable with her or him being so far from us, then there's other room's we can choose from."
I was confused, why did he want our baby living with my parents? I loved the idea of the baby growing up in my room, but I didn't want to go that extreme that they wouldn't be living with us.
"Um, you do know I live twenty minutes from here, of course I don't want our child being this far away from us. Why do you want our baby living here?" I asked him.
"Baby if it takes you twenty minutes to run upstairs, then I suggest we get you into the gym," he laughed.
"What?" I was growing more confused by the second.
"I suppose now is a good time to give you your final two charms," he reached into his pocket, pulling out one more box, opening it to reveal a tiny infinity charm, and a key.
"Do you have the other charms?" He asked, and I nodded, pulling the other three boxes out of my bag. He took them from my hand, taking the charms out to place them on a thick silver band.
"Now this one," he took the infinity charm from the box first, "Because you're my forever," he said, sliding it onto the band.
"And this one," he took the key from box, "Because my home is with you," he placed the key onto the band, taking my wrist in his spare hand, clipping the bracelet around it.
