"I'm in love with you." He says and I look up from my bowl of cereal not sure if I heard him right?

"What?" I asks and he breaks eye contact from the coffee he was pouring an ungodly amount of cream into.

"Hm." He asks still as calm and stoic as ever.

"What did you just say?" I ask and he seems slightly confused and I begin to question if I'm going mad.

"Like, just now?" He asks grabbing the vanilla.

"Yeah?" I say wondering if he was doing a bit.

"I'm in love with you." He says still acting as if he was asking me to pick up bread after work.

"Also, what do you want for dinner, I'm kinda in the mood for beef stew." He says finishing his coffee.

"Jackson what do you mean your in love with me!" I nearly shout and he sight as if I was the one over reacting.

"I don't know, I thought you should know so you could start taking the appropriate actions to put some distance between us." He says sipping his coffee.

"Why are you telling me this now!" I shout and he sets his coffee on the table across from me.

"Harvey. Why are you making such a ruckus at 9 in the morning?" He says and I'm seriously starting to get pissed off.

"Listen here you robot, you can't just go telling someone you've been best friends with for 18 years randomly that you're in love with them and expect them to act like you." I tell him and he looks at me as if normal human emotion is lost on him.

"How would you feel if suddenly I was just like 'hey Jackson, I'm in love with you." I say and he looks at me as if I'm weird.

"I'd say, I'm in love with you too we should try dating?" He says and I sigh realizing that I'm not gonna get anywhere trying to explain human emotion to something I'm still not completely sure isn't secretly a lizard person.

"Jackson when did you fall in love with me?" I ask and he continues to drink my coffee.

"September third, junior year." He says and I drop my spoon.

"And you're just now telling me!"

"Because it's just now seemed important." He says checking the time.

"Jackson, we've been together seven years after that! We've been living together for five!" I scream at him starting to get pissed.

"He gives me that look that says 'calm down it's just an active warhead' and I stand.

"Listen here you annoying little shit! How can you just be in love with someone for seven fucking years and it only now became an issue?"

"Well, it wasn't an issue until a few weeks ago. I couldn't sleep so I came to see if you wanted to order a pizza but you were sleep, so I masturbated to you, and now I've been doing it at least four times a week and I think it's getting out of hand. We need to decide now to renew the lease so, seemed appropriate." He says and I feel my face going red?

"Jackson!" I scream and he only stands.

"You're getting upset so I'm gonna finish my coffee in the living room." He says and I glare.

"Sit your ass back down." I say and he does.

"God Jackson, ok what happened to make you start loving me." I ask and he sighs.

"It was third period, Jordan Woods came up to you, and ask what you were doing with such a gloomy cold guy because we have such conflicting personalities and you replied that 'its the fact that we're complete opposites that we complete each other.' and then I realized that, you were right, you competed me. You're all the missing parts of me." He says still so calm and sipping his coffee.
