"Evan Eugene Hodges!" I say kicking in the door of his bedroom and catching him sitting on his bed reading.

"One of these days you're gonna walk in on me doing some borderline sadistic things that will put you in seven years of twice a week therapy." He says in his usual monotone voice.

"Shut up, we're dating now," I tell him flatly and he looks up.

"What?" He asks and I frown.

"It's Valentine's day and I want to be in a relationship. So we're dating now, I've made a list of the things I want." I say handing him the paper and he looks at it before looking at me.

"No."

"You can't say no I'm your best friend."

"Fine let's date." He says still dryly.

"Good as your new;"

"This isn't working out. But let's remain friends." He says flatly and I glare.

"Why the hell don't you want to be in a relationship with me. We've been friends for three years which means we gotta like something about each other. You're bi, I'm gay. Why are we both putting ourselves through the strain of being single and lonely when we can be together."

"Because you're an asshole and I like you at a distance. If you get too close I'm gonna start to hate you and then we'll break up, then who am I gonna call at 2 am because I want to vent about stupid decisions made by fictional characters in books, mangas, or TV shows." He says and I grab a book and throw it at him.

"No, either you date me or we stop being friends."

"Adam that's bullshit and you know it." He says and I glare at him.

"You don't have a choice starting now you're my boyfriend so go out and by me chocolates."

"Adam, no."

"Fine, then we can't be friends."

"Fine." I instantly feel my heartbreak.

"You don't mean that do you," I say starting to cry, even though my tears were fake. But even after three years, his always cold eyes soften and he seems concerned.

"Adam, you're putting me in a bad spot do you care?" He says and I do the one thing I know will break him.

I bring my head down rubbing my eyes with my hand, awe cute like.

"Adam." He whines.

"Why is there no other guy you can date."

"Nope, you're the only one."

"Fine." He says angrily and I smile.

"Yes!" I say before jumping on his bed.

"I'm officially a taken man," I say before turning to him.

"So Evan how does it feel to be in a relationship?" I ask and I could tell he was still pissed, but I know he'll come around eventually.

But until now I grab his phone and unlock it.

I have a fingerprint and take a quick picture of us before making it his home screen.

"There I'll change mine too. But now we gotta do lots of couple things. Like go on dates, you'll pay of course, and we gotta hold hands a lot. What else do couples do." I say turning to him only to see him looking really upset.

"Hey don't look so down. I'm a great boyfriend, I won't make you hate me. I promise." I tell him hugging him.

"No, you aren't. Adam." He says flatly before standing and walking out of his room.
