On my graduation day a kid I barely knew confessed to me.

"I've liked you since freshman year and I didn't want to leave without telling you." He says and my first thought was that what kind of guy just confesses to another guy.

He was no taller then five four and maybe a Buck thirty. I could easily put him in the hospital if I wanted to.

"Yeah, you should have." That was all I said to him before walking away and leaving him there

I then proceeded to have the best summer of my life before moving a state over to attend dream collage in the fall. I got an place for surprisingly cheap and I have afternoon classes.

Life couldn't be any better.

We'll that's what I thought until I went to visit my new place.

I was greeted by one of those plastic perfect husband and wife where their smile was slightly uncanny.

"Our sons attending the same college as you and well. He has a hard time meeting people and you seem very popular. Could you possibly befriend him." They ask and I know that means that he's some lard ass who plays video games way too much, or some antisocial emo.

But it was a three bedroom with all the amenities and they were only asking for 450 a month.

"No worries a have a nack for befriending people." I say and they smile more.

I was home free in a massive house and all I had to do was befriend their weird son.

I moved my stuff in the next day and once all of my things were in my room I went to introduce myself.

And as most of you guessed by now.

Their son, just so happened to be the guy I turned down at graduation.

We stood staring at eachother in confusion for about a second before horror crossed his face as if I was the homo he would be staying with.

Suddenly he slams the door and I just stand there in shock. Only to hear him taking a phone call.

"Mom dad, I can't do this!" He screams and I just know if he tells them I'm out. So I rush, nearly tackling him and handing up his phone.

"Listen here! I need this place, and you're not gonna ruin it because you made the mistake of catching feeling for me." I glare at him and he only begins to tear up and I wonder if I couldn't find a better place.

But suddenly his phone starts back to ring and he fights me to get it.

"No, I don't care if I have to duck tape you to your bed! I'm staying!" I scream and he only knees me in the nuts and I collapse on top of him in pain.

But he crawls from under me grabbing his phone and answering it.

"This guy, he's crazy he has to go-" I can think of nothing else so I slam my mouth  and he seems shocked.

Giving me another chance to hang up.

Yet his lips are surprisingly soft and even taste nice.

Suddenly I remember that he's a guy and I pull away shocked.

"Why?" He mutters and I only sigh.

"I need this place, please, I can't change that I'm straight. I couldn't return your feelings but I need to live here. This is my dream collage and if I can't live here I can't attend. So you'd ruin my life because I couldn't return your feelings because I have a different sexual orientation from you." I say and he only looks away.
