Lexa was shot. Her eyes widen as she looks over at Clarke with a slack jaw and a surprised look on her face. She falls to the ground. Clarks' eyes go wide and she furrows her eyebrows as she looks down at Lexa, Clarke falls to her knees and looks at Lexa.

Lexa looks at Clarke and mutters "do not be afraid Clarke. Death is not the end"

Clarke looks at Lexa "I'm not letting you die, I need you, I want you." Clarke says in an almost whisper.

Clarke puts pressure on the bleeding to get it under control. She heats a knife over a close open flame so that it's nearly red hot and pushes it to Lexas' stomach after lifting her shirt. She leaves it there just too long as she's still trying to figure out the right amount she should do. The good thing is Clarke got Lexas' bleeding bullet wound under control, she wouldn't lose her today.

Lexa gulps as she prepares for the hot knife. When it hits her stomach she groans and stiffens up. When the blonde pulls the knife away Lexa looks over at Clarke and says "thank you, Clarke". She has a soft smile on her face

Clarke looks at her "I'm not going to let you die. I can't let you die, my people need you and I need you. You got too close today." she said, trying to hide how she actually felt. She sits there a minute longer and then gets up helping Lexa to lay on her bed properly.

The entire time Titus was standing there. Lexa looks over at him. "You're lucky you are the only Flame Keeper we have or I would have your head on a stick." Titus just nods and looks at the gun on the ground. He turns to leave.

When Titus leaves Clarke takes Lexa's hand and looks down at her with a tear going down her cheek. "Please don't scare me like that again," she says quietly.

Lexa looks at Clarke and gives her hand a small squeeze. "I won't. But if I was to die today my spirit would have chosen the next commander wisely. You and your people would have and will have been safe."

Clarke nods and gives a small and faint smile. She frowns tho after a moment. "I need to go through, my people do need me."

Lexa stays quiet and nods her head and then speaks up "I understand. I do hope to see you again, Wanheda" she does a faint smirk and looks down at her stomach "I'll get this wrapped up" she adds

Clarke smiles and grabs the gun off the floor. "I'll see you soon, commander," she says. Before she gets to the door, Lexa throws her an armored jacket. "You'll need that," she says. Clarke puts it on "no standing for at least two days. You need to rest." Clarke says. Lexa nods and Clarke leaves.

Guards are standing outside the door when Clarke walks out. They force her into another room with Murphy of all people. They lock the two of them in there together. Murphy looks at her curiously wondering what the hell she has been doing and why she's been missing for months. What was she doing all of this time? He asks himself.

Murphy speaks up "Clarke where the hell have you been?" He asks

Clarke pounds her fists on the door "Keeping myself away from everyone. You heard what they call me. Wanheda, commander of death. Lexa just called me that. Thankfully I saved her damn life." She replies slamming her hands on the door and yelling at them to let her out.

Murphy looks at her and watches the door then lays down on the couch in the room "I got a feeling we are going to be here a while. Don't waste your energy." he says in that snarky tone he always uses.

Clarke looks over at Murphy "why are you like this?"

Murphy smirks "well, how much am I wrong?"

"About half the time at least." Clarke retros.

The two of them sit there for hours before someone comes and opens the door. Clarke was getting worried about Lexa if she was changing her bandages or not. Why was she like this? What was this weird feeling she was feeling? When the doors open she asks the guards to take her to Lexa. They look confused and then Clarke asks to be taken to the commander's chambers. They take her there and Clarke walks into Lexa changing her bandages.

Lexa looks at Clarke confused and surprised. "What are you doing here Clarke? I thought you would be in Polis by now." she says

Clarke sighs "Me too but your people think you're dead. They forced me into a room with Murphy for hours." she replied. She looks a little mad at this point

Lexa sighs "unfortunately I don't have control of rumors spread about me or you Clarke. And I can't exactly properly stand without being in immense pain from how I was shot by my Flame Keeper. He will pay for this."

Clarke speaks up "he doesn't need to do anything. You're alive and that's all that matters. Now I really need to get back to my people." she says

Lexa grabs Clarke's hand and pulls her towards her. She looks up at Clarke "Thank you, really, thank you for saving me Clarke." she says and lays a soft kiss on Clarkes' hand.

Clarke smiles and calms. She gets closer to Lexa's face" I'll do whatever it takes for my commander." she says before giving her a soft lingering kiss. She turns and leaves.

Lexa watches the door. When it closes and she listens to Clarke leaving a massive grin forms on her face. She lays down in her bed and closes her eyes for some rest.
