What If She Didn't Die?

The List Part 4

Bellamy was gathering a team after talking with Raven. They needed to get the machine that makes water from Farm Station. He gathers a few people and then they head out to get it for Raven.

Raven needed volunteers to fix up the ship but only got a handful of volunteers. Maybe Clarke was right and they should have told people about what was to come in the next six months. I mean they would find out eventually she thinks to herself.

Clarke had gone to the engineering room to figure out some of the plans to try and save all four hundred of their people but couldn't. She was getting very frustrated at that point as she kept reading and re-reading some of the schematics of the Ark from the past.

She slams her fist on the table and sighs. "Why can't we just get a break-" she says to herself

Back in Arkadia Octavia was sneaking around finding the rumors that some people planned to try and take the power from Roan. that would start a war so she went back to the tower and demanded to speak to him in private. He listens

"Octavia I dont have long. What is it," he says

Octavia looks at the king. "Some people plan on challenging you to take your power. It's one of the ambassadors," she says

Roan turns to her "we can't let that happen. Then the alliance with our two clans will break and ice nation will decimate your clan."

Octavia snaps at him "dont you think I know that?" she says

Roan snaps back "then take care of it!" he says

Octavia stands there for a few moments then looks at Echo who was standing by the side and leaves.

She asks around as to where this man might be and finds out that he's eating alone in a small hut not far from where she is. She goes to it and enters.

The man is sitting there eating and sees shes there "come to tell me to back down again?" he asks

"No, I have come to force you." she takes a metal pick she had hidden and stabs him through the ear. It kills him instantly and he slumps over in his seat. She wipes the blood from his ear and then she leaves.

The man sits there before he is found by passers, they say his heart stopped but Octavia knows better. It's officially announced at a meeting later that day when he doesn't show up. Roan gives Octavia a look then Octavia turns and leaves.

Back at Arkadia, it was getting late and Clarke was walking back t her room when Raven stops her to ask if she made the list yet. Clarke shakes her head "it's too hard. There are too many people to choose from." she says

Raven looks pissed off "you do that or everyone dies and nobody gets saved. I need to know by the end of tomorrow." she says. Raven walks off to get a nap before doing a night shift.

Clarke walks back to Where Lexa was staying. She grabbed a piece of paper and starts writing down the names of the hundred. It gets to the last one and she struggles when Lexa wakes up from a nap.

"What's wrong Clarke?" she asks.

Clarke was rubbing her face "I have one more slot."

Lexa gets up slowly and walks to Clarke "if you dont put your name on there then ill do it for you." she says

Clarke sits there and tears up.

Lexa takes the pen and writes down Clarkes name then sets the pen aside. She looks down at Clarke "join me" she says in a soft tone as she moves back to the bed and lays down.

Clarke sits there for a few minutes before getting up and tackling her shirt off then getting in the bed Laying down next to Lexa. She rests her head on Lexas chest and places a hand on the brunets cheek.

Lexa looks down at Clarke and then leaves a small kiss on her head "get rest Clarke" she says

Clarke nods a little. She was exhausted and really did need all the sleep she could get for the next while so she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.

Lexa lays there rubbing Clarkes back gently and then kisses Clarkes head. She eventually falls asleep sometime later, waking up in the middle of the night. She's unable to go back to sleep so she makes sure Clarke gets the rest she needs.

Clarke wakes up early the next morning and moves a bit, she tosses and turns wanting more sleep but her body doesn't let her so she looks up at Lexa and sighs "I want more sleep."

Lexa chuckles "tell me about it. I have been awake for a few hours." she says

Clarke sighs "we have a lot of work to do" she says as she sits up and stretches.

Raven bursts into the room and looks back and forth at the two then sighs "did you make the list?" she asks

Clarke looks at Raven and covers herself quickly "yes I did now get out and learn to knock!" she yells at her

Raven just laughs and leaves the room closing the door. Her laughs can be heard all the way down the hall when she gets to where Monty is working already.

Monty looks up from what he was working on to hearing Raven laughing almost coughing already. "What's so funny?" he asks

Raven looks at him and then smirks "I caught Clarke and the commander in the same bed together." she says

Monty looks at Raven "what? No I thought those were rumors." he states "Anyways it doesn't matter since she's happy okay? When was the last time you saw Clarke Griffin happy."

Raven sighs and starts working again "been a while I suppose."
