What If She Didn't Die?

The List Part 3

Hours pass and the four get to the gates. They are opened for them and they walk in. people gasp when they see the commander walk through the gates. Some are mad and others are happy to see her wondering if she was there to help put the place back together. She was really there to hide and talk to Clarke and Raven about what she saw and what they should do next. Lexa gawks at all the new things she would see. The technology and lights she never knew existed. She realized how much of an advantage the sky people had over her own and never really tried to take over the throne. Her throne.

Clarke looks back at Lexa and chuckles. "I know it's a lot to take in and we will have time for that later," she says leading her to a meeting room where Raven was waiting with Bellamy already.

Lexa walks into the room. It's plain and she takes a seat near a table that was in the middle of the room. She looks up at the group with a raised eyebrow

Raven looks mad to see that Lexa is there but then Lexa speaks up. "You're probably wondering why I came here. I'm on the run from the ice nation. I also saw that these nuclear power plants are going to start exploding in about six months. That's what Becca Prime Heda said to me at least. She said we need to find a way to save our people from the radiation."

Clarke looks at Raven "we should tell people." she says

Raven denies her "no we should not so we don't cause panic."

"Then what do we do?" Clarke asks

Raven thinks "I can patch up the ship- I can easily get it up and running to hold at most a hundred people." she says

Clarke nods "what about the three hundred that would be left then?" she asks

Raven looks at Clarke "you make a list of the top one hundred people that would be of most use for us."

Clarke looks at Bellamy and Raven "there has to be a different way. One to save more people." she says

Raven looks at them "I'm afraid not. Maybe go ask good old wonder worker Jaha" she says in a pissed-off tone.

Clarke stands there for a few moments before turning to Lexa "follow me ill show you where you will be staying." she states.

Lexa gets up and follows Clarke out the door. Down the hall there is a room that Clarke used to sleep in. she helps Lexa get her armor off and sets her down "you need to change the bandages." she says.

Lexa looks at Clarke "o can do it alone I'm okay." she says.

Clarke looks at Lexa "please. Let me do this right now." she says

Lexa pauses then nods and Clarke makes Lexa lay on her back. She takes the old bandages off and looks at the wound. She re-bandages it after cleaning up the area first.

Lexa would flinch every now and then because the spot was still sore. She looks down at Clarke and can't help but wonders about a few things. Mostly the feelings she had towards this woman. The only other time she felt like this was with Costia. She wanted to ask Clarke how she felt. So she did just that.

"Clarke, can I ask you something?" Lexa says

Clarke looks up for a moment then back down at Lexas stomach. "Yes what s it?" she says.

Lexa takes a moment before speaking. "Have you ever had feelings towards someone like I did for Costia?" she asks

Clarke stops what she's doing and then looks up at Lexas face. "What do you mean by that?" she asks

Lexa hesitates. "This feeling. I don't know what it is. Like I'm falling but in my stomach and it only happens when I'm around you or you hug or kiss me." she says the asks "what is that feeling?"

Clarke looks at her and then a soft smile forms on her face. "You have a crush on me. You like me like how you liked Costia."

Lexa looks down at Clarke as she sits up when Clarke finishes. "I thought you could only have it for one person in your life. I didn't know that I could like someone else."

Clarke sits up and then sits down next to Lexa "normally if two people like each other like this they start dating, but I know how you are with your traditions and I have no clue if there is dating in the clans. She says.

Lexa thinks "we don't have dating. We have this partnership. Basically, if two people get along well and get these feelings they move in with each other and form this bond. It's unbreakable and if it is broken then it wasn't meant to be."

Clarke leans on Lexa "with dating it's very similar. But we have labels. There is the Boyfriend and girlfriend, boyfriend and boyfriend, and girlfriend and girlfriend." Clarke says

Lexa leans her head on Clarkes. "Do you feel the same way I do?" she asks after a short pause.

Clarke thinks for a moment then nods her head "yes, I do feel the same way maybe even more."

Lexa looks down at Clarke and then kisses her head. "Good because I want you to be my partner." she says

Clarke blushes madly, something she hasn't done in a bit. "Wait, you wanna by my partner? The commander f the thirteen clans."

Lexa looks at Clarke "well we dont have to" she teases

Clarke cuts her off "no I want to be your partner, and I want you to be my girlfriend." a smile forms on her face

Lexa smiles and laughs "what a weird word, girlfriend" she mocks but looks at Clarke "I like it but we need to hide it. My people cant know. Not even Arkadia can know."

Clarke nods "I understand that part. All that matters is that we both know we wanna be with each other."

Lexa smiles then goes in to hug Clarke but grabs her stomach "I really need to rest." she says

Clarke helps her lay down comfortably "of course." she takes out a walky-talky and puts it on the food next to the bed then take out her own "stay on that channel not moving the spinner at the top. You hold down the button and talk into it when you hold it down then when you're done talking let go of the button. You can use that to talk to me."

Lexa nods "okay. I'll only use it if I need anything." she says.

Clarke smiles a little "and dont say anything inappropriate please."

Lexa laughs "okay. I'll stay here and rest."

"Okay. we will have Jackson come in and look at it every few hours."

She nods and Clarke kisses her cheek again and leaves the room.
