Cause I Love You Part 7

After a few days pass Octavia and everyone with her started marching into the woods to get to the village at this point. A fight had begun, Octavia and the people had been trying to push up toward the village to get to it but they had been stopped. They eventually get through the big group that they were fighting against and just in time because McCreary had decided to drop a bomb on the place. People had begun starting to pile into the ship with the help of Diyoza and the other good prisoners that were on Octavia's side. They all get on at the last possible second and then Clarke closes the door as the smaller ship takes off for the big one in the sky. They get there and watch as the last patch of green turns brown.

Tears are shed as everyone watches but then they begin to get ready to go into cryosleep. Soon after everyone is in their sleep when Clarke is standing at the window looking down at the now barren planet. She frowns seeing how brown and dead it is.

Lexa walks up behind her and kisses her cheek wrapping her arms around Clarke's waist. "It's okay." Lexa says in a soft tone.

"The earth is dead Lexa." Clarke replies

"Yes but we are both still alive right?" Lexa says with a small smile. "And I finally got to see space with you by my side." she says

Clarke nods a little and turns to look at Lexa. she kisses her softly and doesn't pull away. "I love you, so much." she says as her voice breaks

"I love you too Clarke. You have no clue how much I do. I can't even put it into words." Lexa replies before dragging Clarke over to the two beds that were still open. She lays down in one. "See you soon love." Lexa smiles up at Clarke.

Clarke kisses Lexa one last time before closing the door on her and watching her drift off to sleep. She gets in the one next to her and closes it on herself.

A hundred and twenty-five years pass and Clarke, Bellamy, and Lexa wake up to a teenager standing there waiting for them. They stand up and look at him. He introduces himself as Jordan green and leads them t the front of the ship to watch a video. Clarke was holding onto Lexa's hand tightly as they watch the video and realize that Monty and Harmer had not gone into cryosleep. They find out the earth isn't sustainable and watch as their old friends grow old have a kid and eventually die. Before Monty died though he put coordinates into the planet that was just about to show. The planet had two suns. Clarke had tears in her eyes as well on her cheeks.

Lexa hugs Clarke tightly and rubs her back as she tears up too.

Clarke only lets out a small sob into her partner's shoulder as she soon catches herself and is able to calm down enough to look at the planet. "It's beautiful." she says

Lexa smiles a little and looks Clarke in the eyes. "A new adventure awaits my love." she says taking Clarke's chin into her hand

Clarke looks Lexa in the eyes and kisses her softly. "I love you." Clarke says quietly.

"I love you too." Lexa replies.
