What If She Didn't Die?

Planet Alpha Pt. 4

A dog runs up barking at Clarke and the man is seen soon after. "It's okay she's friendly." he says

Clarke smiles a little and pets her then Russell picks up her ball and throws it causing her to chase after it. Clarke watches as she runs off.

"Have you ever known peace, Clarke?" Russell asks.

Clarke just looks at him and stays quite frowning a little. She eventually smiles a bit and looks at him. "The closest I get to peace is with Lexa, and my friends." she says smiling a bit more

Russell smiles and then starts to walk away before he stops and turns to look at Clarke "ill be sending some guards to get you for dinner. Wear something nice." he says then turns back around to go play with the big dog.

Clarke nods and walks back to the tavern. When she walks inside she walks up to the group but as soon as she does Murphy wakes up with a loud yell. He looks around with wide eyes and heavy breathing.

"Did I die?" he asks, but when nobody answers, he asks again louder before Abby intersects and Emori tries to calm him down.

"Yes you did die why are you asking this?" she says

"I think im going to hell." he says shaking a little at this point. Emori hugs him tightly and starts to rub his back.

Clarke only follows and heads upstairs to change. After a bit she comes down in a light pink dress, there is a split dont the front. The group looks at her so she looks at them "What?" she pauses and when she doesn't hear them say anything she adds "It's just a dress" she lets out a light chuckle.

Abby walks up to Clarke and smiles "Lexa would love to see you in something like this." she says

Clarke smiles a little "maybe ill see if I can wear it again another time just for her." she says smiling.

Abby nods "I think she would like that" she pauses before speaking again "Clarke please dont mess any of this up we need to stay here on this planet, we have nowhere else to go." she says

"I know mom that's why I am going to this dinner. I'll state our case." Clarke says "and everything we can bring to the table."

Abby nods a little "of course." there is a knock at the door and some guards walk in. Clarke looks at Abby and nods a little then goes with them.

As she is led to the Prime's house she looks around and watches the people talk and the kids play. When they get there the door opens and she walks inside with Russell leading her to the dining hall. There is food all over the table so she goes and takes a seat opposite the two Primes. She looks at all the food and takes a piece putting it in her mouth.

"Oh my god that's amazing-" she says finishing what she grabbed.

Russell smiles "im glad you like it" his wife interrupts him suddenly to say she doesn't like finding random people in her home.

Clarke sits there for a moment "we were running from a swarm and couldn't go back to our ship because that's the way that the swarm was coming from. So we just ran and then came across this place." Clarke replies

Russell's wife sits there "I also heard what went on back on earth and how you destroyed it, twice." she states

Clarke shuts down at that comment for a moment "I did what I had to do for my people to live. We were doing everything we could with what we had left." she says "I promise you we can change."

"People dont change, Clarke. Not to mention your ancestors destroyed it too. Your planet." Russell says

"First off it's not my planet I was born in space and second they aren't just my ancestors they are yours too." states in a stern voice.

Russell sits there for a moment. "Im sorry, but you should leave and go back to your ship when the group comes back." he says. "Im sorry Clarke or should I say Wanheda, but you and your people will not be allowed in Sanctum."

Clarke sits there for a moment and tears up before she stands up and turns then heads to the door. She leaves and goes back to the group. They all give her this look and she just shakes her head and then goes upstairs to change. She sits down and tears up. "What would you do Lexa" she rubs her face with her hands for a moment before getting up and heading back done stairs.
