Cause I Love You Part 6

When Clarke, Lexa, and Madi get out of the rover and out of the cave they sneak around and see two men. They go up and kill one then Clarke holds a gun to the other.

"Where is my mother Abby?" she asks

He looks at her. "The gas station." he replies having been startled

Lexa sneaks up and cuts his throat then he falls to the ground and bleeds out. "The gunshots would have been heard from there." she says looking at Clarke with the old cold stare she used to give her all those years ago.

Clarke frowns a little and starts to head toward the gas station. When they arrive there Clarke walks into the gas station and finds her mom collapsed on the ground overdosing on the pills she had been addicted to.

"Mom-" Clarke exclaims and goes over to her. "Lexa grab the syringe over there I need it." she says looking at a table not far from where she was.

Lexa does it and hands it to her. "What for?"

Clarke sticks it in Abby's mouth and forces her to drink the clear liquid that was in it. It makes Abby throw up all the Pills she had taken. She groans and coughs.

McCreary walks in and sees all of this happen. "Find out the hard way Clarke?" he smirks

"Find out what?" Clark asks

"Your mother is a junky" He replies

Clarke tears up and looks at Abby who is still unconscious on the floor.

After a while, Abby starts to wake up and Clarke, Lexa, and Madi go to her side. She looks at all three of them and sees that Clarke is there.

"Hey mom" Clarke says with a tear going down her cheek.

"Hey Clarke" Abby replies then looks at Madi. "who is this?" she asks

Clarke looks at Madi and smiles a little. "This is my daughter Madi." she says then looks back at Abby." I found her here once I got out of Becca's lab. She was the only one that lived."

Abby smiles a little and looks at the pills. The frowns when she looks at them. "Im sorry." she says then looks back at Clarke.

Clarke frowns and sighs. "It's okay I promise but mom, how long has this been going on for?" she asks

Abby stays quiet and only looks away before finally speaking. "Since the bunker." she says quietly.

Clarke sits there and then looks at Lexa who was only looking at Abby.

"We need to force my detox. I dont want to be like this anymore. Tie me down give me the drug to make me go through it. My heart may stop but just bring me back- I can't live like this anymore." Abby rambles

Clarke looks at her mom. "Are you sure?"

She nods and stands up getting to the table and lays down on it. Clarke straps her down to the table and then puts the needle in her arm. Lexa helps make sure everything is good and secure then Clarke puts the drug into Abby. Soon after she starts to go through detox and she screams and yells at Clarke to give her the pills. Her heart eventually stops and Clarke panics giving her adrenaline and making it start again. Abby stays unconscious. In the state that Abby was in Clarke finds out why Abby started taking the pills in the first place.

After a bit, Abby and Madi are sleeping. Clarke is sitting at the other side f the room and Lexa is fidling with her Knife near Clarke. Clarke looks up at her and frowns still seeing the shock collar on her.

"Come here please." she says to Lexa.

Lexa goes over to Clarke and sits down next to her then feels Clarke's hands on her throat as she takes the collar off. She doesn't look at Clarke

"Lexa please look at me. Im sorry i did this because I love you." she says "and it was a really bad idea and the stupidest thing I have ever done." she says tears now forming in her eyes threatening to spill over.

Lexa finally speaks to her. "You physically and mentally hurt me, Clarke. You put me in a shock collar like I was an animal!" Lexa says finally looking at Clarke

"What do I do to make up for it?" Clarke asks

Lexa to stay quiet and stands up to leave but before she can Clarke stands up and grabs her hand and gets on her knees. Lexa watches as she does this.

"I swear fealty to you, Lexa kom Trikru. I vow to treat your People as my own and your needs as my own." Clarke says as her voice breaks and tears stream down her cheeks

Lexa stands there, it was breaking her heart to see how much Clarke really wanted to make this up to her so she drags Clarke up with her hand in her still and pulls her into a tight hug. "Okay. but only because it hurts me to see you cry. The great Wanheda doesn't cry okay?" she says

Clarke nods a little into her shoulder and hugs her back tightly. "Im so sorry-" she says holding back as many tears as she could at this point but ultimately failing.
