Clarke was headed to talk to Russell. What a power-hungry man she thought to herself. She couldn't think why people followed this false god. She didn't even understand how it came that people believed he was a god. None of it made sense to her. As she approached the door she saw the believers on their knees praying in front of it.

"I need to talk to Russell." she stated in a flat tone.

The followers tried to not let Clarke into the room but Jordan told them to let her pass, so they let her. Clarke walks into the room and closes then locks the door behind herself before turning to face Russell who is sitting in a chair in front of a chess set.

"Get your people to leave the palace." she tells him still in her monotone voice.

Russell gets up and grabs a small pile of clothing, it was Abby. He holds it out for Clarke to take with her mother's wedding ring on top.

Clarke takes the ring on top, she studies it before putting it into the palm of her hand and making a fist. She began to beat Russell, he falls to the ground taking a candle with him. It causes the drapes to catch fire. Russell lays there and listens to the flames grow behind him but watches Clarke takes out her gun.

"Is this what you want?" she asks pointing it at his head. She snapped when she saw her mother's clothes and just lost it on him, wanting to kill him but knowing that chaos would break out if she did.

"Pull the trigger." Russell states with no tone. He was drained, he lost his family and killed innocent people to try and get them back. The guilt was finally catching up to him.

Clarke screams and pistol whips him. She watches him fall before grabbing her mother's clothes and holding them close to herself as she lets out sobs into the clothing.

When Russell was knocked out, he woke up in his mind space. A man in a hood was sitting in front of him but in the blink of his eye the man was behind him slitting his throat, it was Shed Heda.

He opens his eyes and sits up looking over at Clarke who was holding the clothing. "Please don't leave me" he asks her. He tried his best to sound weak but he didn't know much of what was happening.

Clarke decided to bring him out of the now-burning palace. She holds him at gunpoint as people try and put out the fire. She tells them to stop and sees Lexa running up the stairs.

Lexa stops when she sees what Clarke is doing, she didn't recognize her. Her eyes were red and she looked like she had been crying but yet she looked so calm. Lexa walks up to Clarke with a worried expression but before she can speak Clarke begins to.

"There are no Kings, no Queens! We have all sinned and made mistakes. But tonight Russell Prime dies for his!" she yells at the crowd that had formed. Half of the crowd was now chanting Death to primes.
