Raven interrupted them by walking into the room. "The reactor core is overheating and I need you two-" she stops and sees what is happening. "Okay well then ask our people for welders." she says and turns to leave but before she does she speaks up "ill get Emori and Murphy."
Clarke and Lexa Leave, meeting Gaia and Indra where their people had been staying. A crowd forms around them.
"We need Welders." Lexa says. "It's for the reactor. If you are willing to fix some pipes, go to the mechanics building."
As Lexa is talking someone from behind her sees the stitches on her neck. "She doesn't have the flame anymore." the person points out
Lexa's heart drops and she clenches her jaw. "You don't need the flame to be the commander. It broke, I was dying. So they took it out and saved me."
They look at Lexa but don't do anything, almost as if they were understanding.
"All they did was talk constantly. They didn't make me strong. What made me strong was my decisions and what I did and who I did it with. Not the past commanders."
Everyone nods in agreement. They didn't want to say no, knowing what she was capable of.
Clarke and Lexa look at them before leaving and going back to Russell, they started getting him ready. "You can speak to your followers."
Russell stands on the balcony of the burned-down palace and begins to speak. "Nobody is being forced, I'm dying willingly. Please don't lash out, revenge is not our way." he gets interrupted by someone shouting false god. He gets shot and falls to the ground, Jackson helps him to the medical lab as fast as he can.
Clarke and Lexa watch as a fight breaks out between the followers and children of Gabriel. They look at each other and frown a bit.
"We can't kill him." Clarke says sighing.
Clarke and Lexa were sitting outside their house, it had taken a while but they managed to break up the fight. Russell was okay fortunately but the two of them were exhausted.
Clarks is standing near the front door as Lexa is sitting on the bench near the door. Clarke sits down next to Lexa and places a hand on her leg.
"Is Madi okay?" the brunette asks looking at Clarke.
Clarke nods "Yes she's okay. She's safe with Gaia in her room right now." there is a long pause. "Are you okay?" she asks her finance.
Lexa lets out a sigh and looks down at her knees. "I don't know what to do now, these people are brainwashed." she looks at Clarke "Are you okay?"
Clarke frowns a little. "No matter what we do, all we do is fight. When will our people realize blood must not have blood? When will we?" she asks. She stands up and holds out her hand for Lexa.
Lexa takes her hand and stands up, following Clarke inside. She goes into their room and Clarke pushes her to the bed. Lexa looks up at Clarke wondering what she's doing.
"What are you doing Clarke?" she asks and watches Clarke lay down next to her.
"Making sure you lay down and stay down." she says trying to lighten the mood. In all actuality, she was exhausted and just wanted to spend her night next to Lexa.
Lexa sits up and takes her armor and shirt off. She lays back down properly in the bed and opens her arms for Clarke who now also has taken her shirt off. Clarke crawls onto the bed and lays down next to Lexa then lays her head on her chest. She wraps her arms around her waist and closes her eyes.
"I'm so tired." Clarke says in a soft tone.
Lexa smiles a little and nods. "I am too. Let's get some rest." she replied. She wondered how she got so lucky that the sky girl was well for her. She didn't think too hard though because soon enough she fell asleep with Clarke on her chest. The Two of them snore softly through the night eventually waking up later the next morning to banging on the door from Indra.
