What If She Didn't Die?

Prisoners Part 5

When they all get back to the bunker the rover pulls up and Madi parks then gets out running out of it and up to Clarke. Clarke hugs her tightly and smiles.

"Thank god you're okay-" Clarke says looking back at her before turning her attention to the rover.

Lexa steps out of the back and looks at Clarke. She sees how different she looks now and just stares at her, her short blond hair with red underneath the first layer, the waves and new scars on her face and hands, her eyes and smile forming on her face. That smile is what she missed the most about Clarke as well as her kind blue eyes. She begins to walk up to Clarke but Clarke has other plans. Clarke tears up and starts running at Lexa before tackling her to the ground in a hug.

"Miss me much?" Lexa teases as she hugs her back and feels Clarke sob into her shoulder. She kisses the blonde's head.

Clarke pulls back a little and Cups Lexa's face with her hands then looks at it briefly before kissing her softly. She missed how her girlfriend felt. She missed her so much and never wanted this moment to end. She kisses her again and after a moment pulls back feeling Lexa kiss back and wrap her arms around her waist. "I missed you so much." Clarke says looking her in the eyes

"I missed you too Clarke." she says and moves her hand to rub her back a little before the two finally get up and look at the crowd that formed. Seeing their former commander they wanted to follow her but were too scared too because of Octavia who is now known as Bloodrena.

They all look at the former commander and watch as she smiles, they had never seen her smile but they were happy to see she was human like them. They all smile when they see Clarke give her a kiss you the cheek.

Clarke starts walking towards a tent with Madi to talk to Lexa about who she is and everything that has gone on the past six years on the ground. She sits down and sighs.

Lexa and Madi both sit down. Madi is just staring at Lexa and Lexa chuckles.

"What is it?" she says looking back at Madi.

"Clarke told me stories about you and everyone else." she says

Clarke wraps an arm around M<adi and smiles "only the good ones." she says and winks at Lexa

Lexa nods a little "tell me what happened the past six years down here."

Clarke sighs and leans forwards a bit "well. when you left I got back to the lab just in time. I was affected by the radiation but not as bad as it could have been if I didn't have night blood. I would have died if I didn't have the blood. I came out of the lab almost healed about fifty-six days later and say just sand. I got out a map and found the rover then drive till a sandstorm made it break down. I had to walk from there but I stumbled across a bird and followed it to find shadow valley. That's when I first saw Madi. You know she tried to kill me." she laughs a bit with Lexa and smiles. "We eventually started getting along when I left her drawings of herself everywhere. But she made me step into a bear trap. That hurt. But I can walk is all that matters. We lived here or well there for six years peacefully until one day we saw a ship landing and it wasn't yours. Thast when the prisoners came."

Lexa sits there and frowns at the last part. Madi had fallen asleep in the little bed next to them so Clare moves over so she could lay down fully. Lexa moves over for Clarke to lay down with her and she does.

Clarke faces Lexa and places a hand on her cheek rubbing it gently with her thumb. She kisses Lexa's head and smiles a bit. "I missed you." Clarke says

Lexa lays a hand on Clarke's waist and smiles a bit "I missed you too." she says kissing Clarke's head now. "All I had was to eat Monty's gross algae." she chuckles and looks at Clarke who got slightly closer. She knew what she wanted but couldn't because Madi was there.
