Clarke picks her head up and looks around. She yawns and looks down at Lexa who is still asleep in the bed next to her, her hair is spread all over her face. Clarke lifts her head and moves some of Lexas hair out of her face, she watches a small smile form on Lexas face as she tries to hide it.

Lexa groans and covers her face with her hand. She was exhausted from being shot and needing to save her people from the day before. She slowly opens her eyes and looks up at Clarke. "Good morning Wanheda" she says.

Clarke chuckles "Good morning Commander." she says and kisses Lexas cheek.

Lexa sits up and stretches then leans on Clarke and yawns. "It's too early," she grumbled. Lexa closes her eyes again and lets out another yawn.

Clarke smiles and takes in the moment since she never gets to see Lexa like this. "I know Commander but you have Polis to run. It's time to wake up," she says in almost a whisper.

Lexa looks up at Clarke "call me Lexa, please" she says and kisses Clarke. She gets out of bed and stretches her back then legs.

Clarke chuckles a bit and nods then gets out of the bed after Lexa. "So what's up for task today Lexa?" she asks putting her clothing on.

"We help the people that need help. Take care of the dead and help with the living and the morning. I fear how many were lost to the chip." she says getting her armor on and starting to put the pain on her face.

Clarke watches Lexa put on the paint in a precise way. Clarke watches every movement of her hand and then watches as Lexa washes the rest of the paint away that was on her hand. She walks up to Lexa and kisses her cheek then should and leaves one last lingering kiss on Lexas neck. She finishes getting dressed.

Lexa smiles and turns to Clarke "we can do more later. As you said i need to take care of Polis right now." she puts the armor she has on her shoulder on and sets it upright. "Now are you ready?" she asks.

Clarke nods her head. "Yes I am," she says with a smile. She walks out the door and makes her way out of the tower. She opens the door and her smile drops.

There is blood all over the ground and whaling everyone. The cries are heard for blocks from the people of Polis that had lost family members. Clarke looks around as she sees the dead pilled in the streets and the people that are still alive on the crosses. She watches as the crosses get lowered and the dead taken off as well as the living.

Lexa walks out and her reaction is the same as Clarkes. "What the hell-" she says as she watches the crosses fall. She looks at the people carrying the bodies of the people she killed in the chip as well as the others that refused to take it. She looks over at Clarke. "Your people did this," she says.

Clarke looks over at Lexa "Oh trust me I'm going to have a word with Jaha." she says

People see that she is standing there looking at them. Whispers are heard then a shout. "It's all Wanhedas fault!" someone yells. Another person yells "Death follows her!"

Clarke looks around as the crowd closes in on her. She looks panicked over at Lexa.

Lexa steps into the circle and pulls out her swords. She looks at the crowd "bants wanheda alone, em ste nou waheds fault!" (leave Wanheda alone, it is not Waheds fault!)

They look at Lexa confused with wide eyes. They thought she died. At least that is what Titus made it sound like. She looks around for her guards. When she spots them she gives them orders to find Titus. The guards leave and go to find the man.

Clarke looks at Lexa and mouths a thank you to her. She goes to find Jaha.

Lexa looks around more and helps her people. She has this look of guilt all over her face. How did she not see this coming? It was right in front of however and it slipped under the rug and she didn't see it. She didn't have any excuses about it but only that she was distracted after getting shot by her flame keeper.
