What If She Didn't Die?

The Conclave Part 2

Back with Monty, Kane, Jaha, and Indra they arrive at Polis and get out of the Rover then walk inside and up to the gate. They are ordered to drop their weapons so they do and Kane takes out the seal.

One of the guards from Azgeta takes it and looks at it "where are you headed." he asks

"The Temple" Kane replies.

The guard turns to the others and looks at them then tells them to let them through but right when he says that Indra picks up the gun and shoots them all then kills the guards and starts to head inside.

"What was that for? They were letting us through!" Kane shouts at her

"And if there is a bunker they would just take it for themselves." she says heading to the Temple.

They get there and look down at Gaia. Jaha sees her tattoo on her upper shoulder and then looks at the coin he is holding. "The ashes we will rise," he says and holds up the coin for Gaia to see.

Gaia's eyes widen and she takes the coin and then looks at it. "What is this where did you get this?" she asks

"A bunker. I was wondering if you would know where the one that says twelve is." he says turning it over in her hands.

She shakes her head "I dont."

Jaha nods "then would you know where a bunker is or a hatch of some sort? We have reasons to believe there is one around here in Polis."

She nods "yes. It's here in this room I think under that pile of tech." she says and points to the spot.

Jaha starts moving some of the old broken tech and confirms "yeah it's here. Help me move this stuff!" he says

The others help and then when they get to it, he sees the whole and tries to put the coin in it but its too big and the groans and looks away "it's too big"

Monty takes the coin and stands there looking at it. "What if it's not a metaphor but instruction?" he asks. He takes the coin and puts it in the small fire that Gaia lit when they entered the room. The flame turns another color and then they see the coin starts to melt away with some parts staying their shape.

"Monty you're a genius!" Jaha says.

They now had to wait for it all to melt away and when it does it shows the twelfth seal. Jaha picks it up after letting it cool down. He bends down and puts the seal in the hole then turns it like a key. As he turns it the lock says "from the ashes we will rise" and then it unlocks and they all pull it open to reveal a room. They all hurry inside and start o look around as Azgeta gets in to get the ones that killed their men.

Back at Becca's Island another concoction of the blood was ready and they needed to test it on someone so they took Emori and murphy and locked the two to the small ship in the hanger bay.

Clarke would eventually walk over with Abby and give her a shot to knock her out to take her to the table. Murphy would yell and protest against the decision Clarke made to lock his partner in the machine with the blood.

They lay her on the table and Abby gets ready to give Emori the concoction they made. She hesitates and looks at Clarke "I dont think I can do this." she says handing Clarke the needle

Clarke nods and takes it from her mother and then slowly puts it on Emoris's arm but she stops and whispers to herself "I bare it so they dont have to-" she then puts the needle in her arm and injects herself just as Lexa walks in.

"Clarke what are you doing?!" she yells and runs over but it's too late. The black liquid was already in Clarke.

"I bare it so they dont have to." Clarke says to Lexa

Lexa just looks at Clarke with wide eyes before turning away with small tears forming in her eyes. She walks off to continue packing.
