What If She Didn't Die?

Im Josephine Part 4

Lexa chuckles and breathes a bit heavily. She smiles and kisses Clarke back "I love you" she says between the breathes and kisses.

Clarke smiles "I love you too." she says smiling and kissing her cheek.

The two of them lay there for a while not saying a word, only acknowledging the other is there by their side. They just look at each other and kiss every now and then eventually hearing the music stop.

Clarke eventually stands up and wraps herself in a blanket walking over to the window to see what is going on outside.

Lexa gets up soon after and wraps her arms around Clarke's waist with a faint smile. She kisses her neck softly and places her hands on Clarke's hips. Clarke smiles at this and turns around kissing her partner's cheek before walking back to her dress and putting it back on.

Lexa does the same but with the tux she had been wearing. She walks over and smiles at Clarke "you should tell me more about this marriage thing everyone has been talking about-" she teases

This causes Clarke to blush but before she can speak she sees Lexa's gaze go to a drawing near the bed. It had all of their faces in it with Clarke's face circled. Lexa holds it up to show Clarke and right as she's looking at it the door opens and the medic walks in.

"You two shouldn't be in here" he says and sees them holding the drawings.

"What is this?" Lexa asks holding up the drawings

"Oh, that is just practice I like to draw, and it's a bit hard to draw new faces but I wanted a challenge."

"Bull." Lexa says

"Fine. you dont want to know what the primes do. Im taking you two to the Children of Gabrial." he takes out a poison dart and shoots Clarke with it.

Lexa doesn't see Clarke get shot so she runs out of the room thinking Clarke is right behind her.

Clarke falls to the ground and looks up at the man as the guards come in and try to get him to back down. She watches as the man takes out a knife and slits his own throat then collapses to the floor. One of the guards gets Russel who then gets them to bring them to a room filled with skeletons. She placed it on a cold metal table.

Russell's wife walks inside the room and sees Clarke laying there. "Why havent you given her the anti-toxin yet?" she asks

Russell only looks at her and holds up a mind drive "we can get out Jose back." he says

"No Russell. It's not her turn in line. And Clarke isn't consenting to have this done."

"We let her go and tell everyone about this place or we get her back." he responds

Russell's wife stays quiet for a few moments before speaking "fine." she says and looks at CLarke

Clarke was now crying as she lays there. She looks between the two of them with tears going down her face as the thought of Lexa having basically just proposed to her is fresh in her mind. She watches as Russell picks up a massive needle and put it into her throat injecting her with the contents. She drifts off and can feel herself losing consciousness before it all goes black.

Russell lays her down in a chair that has a hole for her face. He moves her hair out of the way and puts the Mind drive into her head before waking her up again.

As she wakes up she jumps up screaming and Russell comforts her. He takes her hand "hey Josephine you're okay!" he says and watches as she looks at him.

She looks at him and smiles a little "dad?"

Russell nods and smiles bringing her into a tight hug.

After the hug, she stands up and looks in the mirror seeing Clarke's face. She smirks "oh I could get used to this body." she says
