What If She Didn't Die?

The Key Part 2

Clarke was leaving Polis. She leaves the gates and starts walking further and further from the capital. At some point, it starts to get dark and she needs a break but just as she's about to go off the trail she hears the rover. She runs out to the trail again and runs out in front of the rover giving enough time for it to stop. Bellamy stops the rover and gets out then looks seeing that it is Clarke. Monty, Jasper, Harper, Octavia, and Raven were in the back. They were taking the raven to the trading post so the raven doesn't know where she is.

Clarke sees him then runs up and hugs him tightly. Bellamy hugs her back tightly "where have you been!" he says

Clarke pulls away "the capital. Why what's going on?" she asks.

Bellamy sighs. "Jaha is alive somehow and he brought back this backpack that makes with chips. He calls it a key and he's taking over Arkadia with it. Then pike is taking over the other side and brainwashing everyone into thinking the grounders are the enemy."

Clarke looks at Bellamy. "I assume everyone is in the rover?"

Brlmmay nods "raven took the key. She regretted it and told us her plan to short circuit it. We need help and we are taking her to an undisclosed location. Will you help us?"

Clarke thinks for a moment. She then nods and gets in the rover seeing everyone. Bellamy gets back in and starts driving. After they drive for a while they get to the spot and everyone grabs a raven. They drag her into the trading post. They tie her to the bed in the other room and then take the hood off. Raven thrashes around and looks around trying to get free. A.L.I.E. tells her to get free. She needs to find A.L.I.E. two point zero.

Clarke sighs and looks at her "why would you do this to yourself?" she asks quietly.

Bellamy looks at Clarke. "She wanted to build an EMP to destroy the chip. We just need to make it," he says.

Sinclair steps in "I have everything needed I just need to put it together." he looks at Niylah. "Do I have permission to use what's needed?"

Niylah nods "yes. Might as well since you're already using my home!"

Sinclair goes around grabbing tools and throwing them on the table. He starts working on the EMP.

Clarke goes out to get some air as Bellamy and Jasper watch Raven to make sure she doesn't try anything. Clarke hears rustling in the bushes. She grabs her gun and tells whoever it is to come out.

The person steps out with a hood covering their face, they take it off, it's Lexa. She walks up to Clarke "I couldn't stay there they think I'm dead. And there is this chip people are trying to make me take."

Clarke puts her gun down and holsters it "get inside you could have been followed" she says. When she brings Lexa inside, Sinclair sees she's sitting at the table near the door, and his eyes go wide.

What is the commander doing here?!" Sinclair asks

Clarke looks at him "They are trying to get her to take the key. We can't risk that." she says.

Lexa takes a seat near Sinclair and looks at what he's doing. "What are you doing?" she asks. She seemed more relaxed around Clarkes' friends.

Sinclair looks at the commander sitting next to him. "I'm making an EMP. Is going to help destroy the chip in Raven's head. I'm nearly done." he squads getting back to work.

Lexa sits there and then her eyes wander looking at Clarke and then over at the others. She sees the room where Raven was being held. She hears her talking and trying to get into Jaspers and Bellamy's heads. She could tell it was starting to work. Lexa starts to get up and walks over to the room. She walks into the room and looks at the two men. "Go," she says.

Their eyes widen and they get up and leave the room. Lexa sits down next to the bed. She knew Raven wouldn't get to her and the only thing that Clarke knew about. Lexa takes out her knife to sharpen it.

A.L.I.E. talks to Raven, "you can't use anything against her.'' She turns away from Lexa and looks at Raven. "You know nothing of her. I'm not going to be able to'' she pauses and thinks "Lexa is A.L.I.E two point zero. She has the other chip in her." she says

Raven looks at A.L.I.E. confused "no she's human." she says to The lady.

A.L.I.E. smiles "it's in her neck. You need to get free and get it out of her neck." she tells Raven. Raven nods and starts trying to bite at her wrists. She can't reach them. A.L.I.E. looks at a raven. "You need more slack," she says.

Raven starts to twist and pull at her right arm. Lexa looks up and watches Raven then looks at the door and back at Raven. She watches as Raven dislocates her arm from her shoulder "Clarke! Bellamy!" she yells for them.

Clarke and Bellamy run into the room and then yell for the others. They run over and hold her down. A.L.I.E. look at Raven "You won't be able to get out of this. I need to eliminate you-" she says. She looks at Raven and Raven starts to slap her head on the bed frame. They get her head to stop and Raven looks at A.L.I.E. before getting knocked out by Lexa. Everyone looks at Lexa with a small pause as Sinclair runs in with the EMP. He puts the cuff on Raven's wrist and tries the switch. He thinks for a moment "I need a higher volt battery, get the car battery!" Bellamy and Monty run outside and after a minute comes back in. Sinclair hooks the battery up to the EMP then he pulls the switch just as Raven starts to wake up again.

Raven goes limp and Clarke tries to wake her up. She looks at ravens face and then at the others "Help me get her on her side." she says. The others listen and hold her there as she moves her hair to the side. She opens some cloth to show scalpels. She chooses one and then starts cutting at her neck.

"What are you doing?" Sinclair asks. The blood starts coming from Raven's neck and after a few moments some clumps come out. She then covers the cut.

"That's what's left of the chip," she says. She sighs and Raven opens her eyes.

Lexa looks at what she just saw. "Why am I not affected? I have that in my head," she says.

Raven groans and sits up "that's not what everyone has been taking," she says.

Clarke has a sigh of relief and hugs her "thank god you're okay." she says

Raven hugs her back briefly then pulls away "I know how to stop A.L.I.E. she says. "Lexa needs to get back to the capital. We aren't safe here; they know where we are now."

Clarke looks at Lexa "thing there is a way in?" she asks.

Lexa thinks "They all think I'm dead. They are seeing who the next commander will be right now. I fear all my students are dead. For nothing." she says. "We need to leave now to get back there, now," she says

Clarke nods and looks at Bellamy. Bellamy nods and then starts packing things into the rover. Jasper and Monty help Raven to the rover and get her inside. Saintclair gets in to help her up to a seat.

Clarke looks at Lexa "ready to see Arkadia?" she asks.

Bellamy walks over "we load up and leave. We need guns and ammo before we go back to Polis. So everyone gets in the rover." he says. Bellamy gets in the driver's seat. Octavia gets in the passenger's seat with Jasper and Monty getting in the back. Lexa looks at Clarke "I guess I don't have a choice do I?" she says getting in the back of the rover.
