What If She Didn't Die?

When Raven told Bellam, Lexa, and Clarke to go to the tower to get the satellite aligned they grab everything needed but just as they are heading out Murphy runs up asking for help so Bellamy goes to help get Monty.

Clarke and Lexa run to the tower and make it just in time but when they look at the panel at the bottom and try to align it, it won't work so Clarke decides to do it by hand and climb to the tom.

"No Clarke im not leaving you!" Lexa says

Clarke furrows her eyes "if it gets too close you start running." she says

Lexa stays quiet as she watches Clarke climb the tower. When she gets to the top it takes her a while to do the adjustments but she manages. She looks up and sees the radiation wall coming and the ship taking off, but when she looks down she sees Lexa waiting there for her. She tears up and does her best to get down from the tower.

"Come on Clarke!" Lexa yells and as soon as she reaches the ground Lexa grabs Clarke's hand and starts running. They reach the Lab just in time. Clarke was more affected by the radiation since her night blood was synthesized. Lexa was almost fine aside from some spotting on her face. When they get into the Lab Clarke collapses to the ground. Lexa goes down with her.

"Clark, hey Clarke it's okay I've got you-" Lexa says tearing up

Clarke coughs up some blood and looks at Lexa placing a hand on her cheek. She looks at her with tears "I love you" she says to Lexa

Lexa's eyes widen at the sentence "I love you too-" she says before kissing Clarke's head.

Clarke would pass out after that and Lexa would hold her in her arms before picking her up and taking her to a medical bed that was left. She would make sure Clarke wasn't choking on any blood before sitting down next to the bed in a chair she pulled up. She lays her head on the bed next to Clarkes and silently cries.

After a few hours Clarke wakes up to a sleeping Lexa. she turns her head and looks at her then feels the hand that was on her chest. She places her hand on Lexa's hand and then Lexa wakes up then looks up at Clarke with a sigh of relief.

"Thank god you're okay." Lexa says and kisses her head.

Clarke looks around confused and then remembers everything that happened. "At least we are alive, right?" she says

Lexa nods a little "and I dont have to hide how I really feel from others now. Now I can just show you." she says

Clarke chuckles "I guess that is a pro." she says kissing Lexa's cheek before grabbing a glass of water Lexa had gotten her and drinking it all. She looks at Lexa "I definitely hurt right now." she says and then leans back into the bed

"I bet. You do have blisters all over your face right now. They look painful." Lexa says

"They are. Mostly stinging, that's a good sign though cause it means the nerve endings weren't melted off." she teases

Lexa looks at Clarke seriously now "dont joke about that. I dont know what I would do without you. Probably go insane."

Clarke nods and takes Lexa's hand "okay sorry." she says

"It's okay." she says and smiles at the thing Clarke told her earlier

"What's with the smile?" Clarke asks

"Oh just, I love you" Lexa says

Clarke chuckles a bit and smiles "I love you too." she says

Lexa smiles more "alright let's get you a shower." she says and helps Clarke sit up.

Clarke walks weakly to a shower and Lexa helps her inside. She washes off and after a bit gets out with the help of Lexa again. She goes to a proper bed with pillows this time and lays down completely nude. Mostly her face was affected by the radiation sense the rest of her body was somewhat covered. Lexa gets undressed aside from her chest wrap and some shorts she would wear under her armor. She lays down next to Clarke and gets under the covers helping Clarke under as well. She opens her arms for her girlfriend to come.

Clarke smiles and slides into Lexa's arms laying her head on her chest and yawning. "We need to ration as much as we can. Ration food and water." Clarke says before getting cut off by Lexa

"We worry about that tomorrow but right now we rest." Lexa says rubbing up and down Clarke's arm and back. She kisses her head again

Clarke nods and closes her eyes to rest. She has a smile on her face as she drifts into a deep sleep.

Lexa would lay there for a while before falling asleep herself.

Two months pass and they are able to go outside finally so they go out and Clarke brings a map to find the Rover. They walk and eventually find it then start to dig it out of the sand. They get it out after a while and drive to Polis to the bunker. When they get there they see that Lexa's tower is destroyed which makes Lexa a bit sad. They try their best to open the tower but fail and the rubble covers the bunker door. They drive around for a while after that but then a sand store comes knocking the solar power off the Rover and breaking them. They start walking through the desert where they see a bird and follow it finding the patch of green that was left. They walk and find water then get undressed and go in to wash off and drink. After that, they get dressed again and keep walking to find the village. They walk around looking when they see a little girl. They try and get to the girl but just as they think they get her Clarke walks into a bear trap. She yells and Lexa helps her to one of the open houses that's there.
