What If She Didn't Die?

The List Part 2

The Ice Nation was mad, they all thought Lexa had tried to fake her death and that there should be a trial or even a challenge for it. Lexa overhears some of them talking. She listens as she tries to help her people. There was a plan to try and kill her that night already, she couldn't let it happen.

Clarke had found Jaha after trying to help the clans but got rejected. He decided to just go back to Arkadia when he's Clarke walked up to him as he was leaving Polis. "Where are you going?" She asks

Jaha looks at Clarke "back to Arkadia. To our people." he says. He continues to walk as Clarke follows.

Ice nation wouldn't let the two of them leave. They stopped them right outside the border to Polis and forced them back into the capital.

Lexa sees from one of the hidden tunnels and decided to go back for them

And as she does she sees some of Clarkes people. She tells them where to go and they listen eventually leaving out of the other end of the tunnel.

As Clarke is trying to get free to go back to Arkadia with Jaha and Bellamy as well as Octavia Roan appears. He walks up to Clarke and looks down at Clarke. "It's all your fault," he says.

Clarke looks up at him and with a pissed of look she says "no I didn't. This was the work of A.L.I.E. She took over everyone's minds. Forced us to do things we didn't want to do!" she says

Roan looks at her face and then the marks on her neck. He grabs her face and moves it so he can see her neck better and frowns. "You took the chip-"

Clarke thrashes her head getting him to let go "I was forced to by my own mother! She forced it down my throat and then i tried to kill myself in front of le- The Commander." she states looking him straight in the eyes.

Roan looks at the guards and they let go of Clarke. She stumbles forwards slightly. "You may go but Tell Lexa that she is no longer commander until we have a proper trial for the faking of her death."

Clarke looks at him and back at the guards "What! She didn't fake her death! Titus shot her!"

Roan turns to Clarke "You Leave here and Lexa stays or you stay and get killed by my people!" he shouts. He looks at the guards. "Find her."

The guards leave to find Lexa who was just about to get out of Polis when they stop her. She takes out her swords and kills them then runs towards a small camp she knew that she and Clarke had used close by after the guerilla attack.

As Clarke is leaving with the three, Roan asks for Octavia to stay behind. She listens and stays.

Clarke, Bellamy, and Jaha leave to tower and make their way out of Polis where they start to head back to Arkadia. Lexa was just waiting off the trail when she calls out for the three. "Clarke!" she says running out onto the trail and putting her words away.

Clarke hugs her tightly "Lexa, you're okay!" she says taking in the hug.

Lexa nods "I got away after killing the guards. How did you get away?" she asks letting go and looking around at the three.

"He let us go. They want to challenge you and or put you on trial for faking your death. We all know you didn't fake it." Clarke says

Lexa looks confused "who wants to put me on trial?" she asks.

Clarke looks worried at this point "King Roan and the rest of the ice nation as well as some of the other clans. I'm afraid the alliance ill break maybe but Roan made Octavia stay behind. I feel like as an informant." she says

Lexa nods and sighs. "I need to come with you to Arkadia and hatch a plan to get back into polis then take over as commander again."

Clarke nods "yes but we need a safe place." she looks over at Lexa. "you ready to see Arkadia?" she asks.

Lexa sighs and nods a little "I guess I don't have a choice." she says and starts walking towards the fallen Ark.
