"Dolph, he must be in danger. Why would he cut the call? And he isn't even answering my call. What if those people hurt my son? He is innocent, Dolph. He is just a kid. He shouldn't be paying for what Evans did. We should go and help him. My son is being hurt, Dolph. We have to go. I have to go. My son- My son is-" Sirius was panicking so much that it hurt Rodolphus to see him like this. He was worried about the kid too, but he is more worried about his Sirius.
"Sirius, calm down. We can't go to Hogwarts just like that. Dumbledore won't let you in without any reason and I can't even go into public, remember-" "Then I will go alone. My son needs me-" Sirius suddenly shrieked when Rodolphus lifted him in his arms as he tried to go to the door and pulled onto his lap.
"Sirius Orion Black!" Rodolphus said sternly. Sirius looked at him with wide eyes. "We don't even know if Harry is hurt or not. He might be talking to them and that's all. No one knows about the mirror and that might be why he isn't answering your calls."
"But-" "No buts, Sirius." Rodolphus said to him. "Why do you have to think negatively? Why don't you think that he is just trying to make them believe that he is innocent and it's not him who sent the notice to Weasley and Granger? Granger is not a fool like Weasley, so she might be asking too many questions. So, Harry must be trying to convince them. Right? He is not hurt. No one is hurting him and if he is really hurt then he will call dad, remember? Dad charmed the locket and Harry said dad gave it to him for protection."
"Then Romulus did Harry call you?" Sirius didn't move away from Rodolphus and turned around to look at Romulus who shook his head.
"Rodolphus is right, Sirius." Romulus gave him a comforting smile and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Even if something really happened to him and yet he didn't call me, I'm going to meet him in two days to talk about Potter family's allies and enemies. I forgot to talk about it today, I was going to write to him about meeting again. I'll confirm if he is fine or not when I meet him, ok?"
"2 days? What if he is hurt again by then? I don't want him to get hurt. He is just a kid, he doesn't deserve all this." Sirius said sadly.
"We don't even know if he is hurt in the first place, Sirius." Rodolphus said rubbing his back in comfort. "You are just thinking too much. He might be talking to others or even Dora."
"But Dora is not being good to him. I know that she is hurt, but she is older than Harry and more mature. I hope she understands and forgives him soon." Sirius sighed. "I don't want my children fighting. I know she went through so much and I don't want to force her, but it's just- I-"
"Hush now, I understand why you want her to forgive Harry. He is your son and you are just worried about him. You don't have to explain everything to me." Rodolphus said to him. "Now, why don't you finish your dessert?"
"Hmm?" Sirius looked confused before looking at the bowl in Rodolphus' hands. Chocolate ice cream, he loves everything chocolate and his eyes sparkled lightly. Rodolphus smiled knowing he distracted Sirius successfully and nodded to his father who smiled at them with happiness before leaving. He actually wanted to talk to Sirius about Harry Potter, but after seeing how he reacted just now, he decided it's best to keep it to himself and Rodolphus if he asked about it. He closed the door behind him.
"Want to eat or not?" Rodolphus asked amused as Sirius just looked at it.
"Of course, I want to eat." Sirius rolled his eyes and was about to grab it, but Rodolphus moved it away from him.
"What are you doing, Rodolphus? Give it to me." He said trying to reach it, but Rodolphus was bigger than him and his hands are larger too. "Rodolphus, give it to me." Sirius almost whined.
