"Look who's on time!" Akxfo said, turning to Lavina.
"Uh, yeah- should I not be?"
"Oh, no, you should be. It's just, your mother never was."
"So what are we doing today?" Lavina asked him.
"We?" He laughed.
"I'm sorry, are you not my teacher?"
"Oh, I am. But I told you I was taking a different approach.""Yeah, and...?"
"Follow me." He waved her on. They walked through the Market until they reached a vehicle.
"What is this?"
"Have you- have you just lost all of your knowledge or something?"
"No- just- my angry self doesn't care as much." Akxfo smacked the back of her head.
"Well start caring. You're going to have to deal with your anger, until the point where you don't need those dog tags to be happy." Lavina rolled her eyes.
"I know."
"Yes, and we will work on that. Anyway, this is what we call the Train. You can get anywhere in the Underground in minutes."
"Really? How does that work?"
"I don't know, Lavina, I'm not the scientist who made this." He hopped into the cart. "Come on, get in." He extended his hand to her. Lavina grabbed his hand and the side of the cart and hopped into the back seat. "Strap in please." Lavina did as he told her, strapping in with a harness like seatbelt and another across her waist. Akxfo turned the key and a cage came up behind him. Then he strapped himself in like Lavina had. A harness across his chest as if he was a little baby in a car seat, another across the waist, and another that he fastened like a bottom harness. Then restraints came over his feet. Next he started the train completely. He pulled a lever, the machine backed up and then shot them out in a fury. Within minutes they were caught and then backed into another bay. Akxfo undid all of his restraints and took out the key, the cage lowering back into the floor. He turned around to Lavina. "Let's go, we're here." Lavina unclicked her own restraints and then Akxfo helped her out of the vehicle.
"Where are we?"
"The kingdom of Avalone (Ava-lon)."
"Avalone?"
"Yes, we are here to assist Queen Antonia with a specific task.""Assist? Should I be wearing nicer clothes and my crown?"
"It's not that type of visit."
"So this is your way of teaching?"
"Well, I figured that I could take you into the Arena and train you, as well as letting you continue going to school, but then I thought that maybe real situations might be a better option, plus it allows you to work with people, without getting angry."
"Angry? There's not much to control it, you know that, right?"
"I know, but this will force you to try. There will be real consequences to your actions, anger won't help any situation."
"I know."
"Yes, you do." They finally reached the palace and were escorted to the throne room.
"Welcome!" A woman said, walking down the stairs. "I am queen Antonia Floreta-Auguste." Akxfo bowed to her and Lavina curtseyed. "Oh you two don't need to do that and before you start with the your majesty stuff, please just call me Antonia."
