"Ah! There's my daughter!" Jasvinder said, coming into the room. "Aw." He said when he saw Akxfo. "Are you two really working on a Saturday?"
"Of course we are." Akxfo said, looking at him.
"Oh come on, Akxfo, let her have the day off."
"Let her have the day off? Aren't you a funny man."
"Akxfo, I wanted to spend some time with my daughter, you know, while people aren't pestering me at work."
"Well, when you put it that way-" Jasvinder smiled. "No."
"Akxfo!" He yelled at him. Akxfo looked up at him. Jasvinder walked over to him and whispered something in his ear.
"I suppose you're right." Akxfo paused and looked to Lavina. "I'll track down Anata, but-" He started, putting his finger in the air. "An hour with your wife about Underground culture."
"You want her to school on a Saturday?"
"Well, yeah, I haven't been doing much of it."
"Ugh." Jasvinder sighed. "Fine."
"Cool, have fun, Lavina." Akxfo stopped before he left the room. "With your, father." Lavina put her hands in her pockets and then looked at her father.
"So, what do you have planned?"
"Oh, nothing much. I thought I could take you out for a joy ride."
"You want to do a one on one thing?"
He laughed.
"Of course you do."
"Come now, I do want to spend some one on one time, to get to know you, but between work and my wife, and three other kids-"
"You're busy."
"Well, I'm sorry. Persimmon had a soccer game on Wednesday and the twins had their whole thing on Tuesday and Thursday. I had to watch everyone on Friday so Cheshire could go to her appointment..."
"You're rambling dad."
He laughed, "I know."
"I understand, I've been busy too, with Akxfo and all. Plus I haven't called mom yet this week."
"You haven't!?" He exclaimed. "You need to call her sweetheart!"
"I do?"
"Yes, you do. She worries you know."
Lavina chuckled, "I know dad." She paused. "So what are we doing?"
"Well, you're into golf, right? There's a nice golf dome about ten minutes from here, I thought we could go play a round."
"I didn't know you played golf."
"I don't-" He laughed, "But if it'll make you happy-"
"Yeah, yeah, I know."
Jasvinder chuckled, "Well- hey, go get changed."
"Go get changed?" She looked up and down him. "Maybe you should leave my room and I will."
"Oh- yeah, I came in here, didn't I?" He put his hand on his chin. "My bad." Jasvinder walked out and then turned around outside her room like he wanted to say something. At that point she shut the door on him, going to her dressers to do as he said. She changed and brushed her hair, coming out of her room and down the stairs. "Ready to go?"
