"So we're here, why?" Lavina said, standing next to Akxfo.

"Someone very special has arrived back in Paradise. A special knight, her name is Lady Foxx."

"And why do we need to see this knight?"

"Well, if anyone could teach you to fight, it'd be her. I may be good at what I do, but she has excelled at it." They stopped at the palace and Akxfo waved at the guards. "We're here to see Lady Foxx."

"Go right in, Sir Vlminff, she'll be inside." Akxfo nodded his head and waved Lavina on.

"Will you be staying for this adventure?"

"No, I'm afraid not. Amilia needs something from me."

"My mom?"

"Yeah, she wants me to train her again, so..."

"She wants you to train her? Didn't you hurt her a bunch of times?"

"That was only because of Unora." He pointed furiously at her. "When those toxins get into your head, you can't refuse but to be obedient, they basically put you so deep into a trance that not even you can see what you're doing. I honestly thought I passed out or something- but when I came to, your mother was hurt." He paused. "Hurt badly and her blood was on my hands." He gripped his hands, one in the other.

"You can't blame her for everything you know."

"Huh?"

"Unora, how can you blame someone when my mother looks like her daughter who you people killed."

"I admit, the Market never should have done that, but they felt threatened. And you can't deny that history."

"Eh, I suppose you're right." She put her hands in her pockets.

Akxfo chuckled, "Feeling better?"

"Hm?"

"You're not yelling at me like you usually do."

"Uh, yeah. I suppose what Samantha told me has helped me be 'less' mad." She said, using her fingers as air quotes.

"That's good. Good job."

"Praise? From Akxfo Vlminff?"

He laughed again, "Not very often, but yes, I suppose." It fell silent as they walked into a room where they stood for a little while. "May I ask you a question?" Akxfo broke the silence. Lavina looked up to him. "Why defend Unora?"
"Because she's not all that bad. She tried to do the right thing, remember? It was only the second time, the second time that she lost everything that she lost it and thirsted for revenge. A person with that much PTSD and no counsel, well, that's a brew for a villain."

"Hm, I suppose."

"Well, you have to remember, she thinks she's the hero, and us, all of us, are the villains."

"You're pretty smart for a kid, you know that?"

"That's what I've been told." She smirked at him.

"Sorry I'm late." They heard someone say as they huffed into the room, hearing the clanging of armor.

"Ah, Lady Foxx."

"Oh, please Akxfo, call me Red."

He laughed. "Well, nice to see you again, Red."

"You as well, Sir Vlminff."
