"So is it really true, you're leaving?" Anghi asked her.
"I will be, yes." Anghi looked down at the floor. Lavina sighed. "I'll be back."
"For good?"
"I don't know, Anghi." She paused. "It's just-" She stopped again. "There's so many memories here. Memories of my past self. When I saw myself, as I was, in that mirror, well, I just fell apart. Sita mentioned that maybe a change of place might do me well."
"Oh, well, I suppose if you think it is best."
She chuckled. "I'm not sure if it will or not. But, I'm all packed and I'll leave tonight. You know, dad's working today, so I'm taking a commercial flight and Cheshire will pick me up."
"Well, good luck." He smiled.
"You have training today?" Lavina asked him.
"Yeah, Kota is interesting, we've been helping people and she's been teaching me spells."
"Is she really as powerful as people say?"
"Well, I don't know. I mean, we haven't been put in a position to try that aspect of things."
"Oh, well that's good."
"I suppose. Anyhow, I have to get going." He laughed and pointed at the door.
Lavina copied him, laughing. "Me too."
"I thought you said tonight."
"Yeah, it is, but you know Akxfo. No days off." She paused. "Here let me walk you to yours."
He chuckled at her. "Alright, but don't go too crazy!" They left the house together and Anghi showed her the way as he arrived at Kota's home. Anghi knocked on the door and within seconds it opened, Kota in the doorway.
"Why hello there, children!"
"Hello Master Kota." Anghi said, grabbing his shirt.
"Why, your sister is here with you, do you need something Lavina?"
"Huh? Oh, no, I don't. Well, goodbye Anghi."
"You promise to call, right? I'll hear from you?"
"Of course." She gave him a hug.
"Oh dear, are you going somewhere young princess?"
"I've decided to go live with my father in Arizona."
"Oh, that is quite far away."
"Yes, but I think it will help me to clear my head. I heard he has a decent sized yard."
"Well, then it should be nice. But are you truly ready to leave your mother, your adoptive father, your brother, your home." Lavina looked down at the floor. "Come on in, Anghi." Anghi rubbed his sister's arm and then went inside. "This decision is up to you, of course. But everyone will miss you when you leave, will you miss them?"
"Of course I'll miss them, but I need to do this, I need to clear my head."
"Ah, I see. Well, have a safe and wonderful trip." Kota put her hands up above her head together and then split them apart as she talked. As she did so little stars went above her head in a rainbow. Lavina shrugged and turned around, rubbing her head. She walked away from the house and then suddenly looked back when she saw flashes of light. But soon they stopped and she saw Anghi in the window. He gave her a thumbs up and then waved at her. But then he started running and then she could see more flashes of light. SHe continued away from the house and to the Arena.
