"So what are we doing today, exactly?"
"I am taking you to one of the greatest scientists the Underground can offer. And a fun fact about her, she used to work up on the surface too."
"And why am I seeing a scientist?"
Akxfo laughed. "You'll look into weaponry and gadgets. Plus, she needed someone to test her new products. It'll help in the long term."
"Ah." Akxfo stopped in front of a door that was attached to nothing but a big metal building. He knocked on the door and it dropped. He stepped aside and motioned her to go in. "You're not coming, again?"
"Of course not. She knows why you're here. Tell her your name and she'll do the rest." Lavina chuckled and then walked in. The door shut abruptly and she could see nothing but metal. Then lights turned on, revealing a hallway. Lavina looked around but could not see any other way to go, so she went the obvious path. At the end of the hall was another door, one that opened a little calmer. She walked through again and soon heard hissing from a flame thrower, and then, it stopped. She heard some clanging and then footsteps.
"You must be Lavina!"
"Yes I-"
The woman laughed as she walked over to her. "You stopped, is there a problem?"
"Are you-"
"Yes, yes, I am Sita Dracam." She paused. "I know, aren't you a bit young?" She laughed. "I am, but my age does not define me."
"How did you-"
"Know what you were going to say?" She turned around. "It comes with the territory." She pointed to her forehead. "Follow me!" Lavina walked, following behind her. As they did Lavina looked around at all of her inventions.
"Akxfo tells me you're a scientist. What kind of scientist are you?"
"Oh, a little of everything. But I like to work in mechanics." All of the sudden Lavina heard an electronic sounding meow. Then she saw a little robot jaguar hopping around.
"Wow." She started. "You made them so life-like."
"The cat's?" Sita started. "One of my specialties. But there's more than just the two of them. There are more lurking around."
"Isn't that the definition of a cat." Lavina joked.
"Eh- not exactly."
"Hm?"
"I programmed them to be more 'dog' like. They are more emotional and can be more helpful. They wait for me by the door when I leave and follow me around when I bring them along." She smiled. "You should hear their little happy yips, it's so cute!"
"Have you named them?"
"Oh, yes, I have."
"Really?"
"Mhm, I call my oldest Rusty." She laughed."And what's the youngests' name?"
"Peppy."
"Really?"
"No, it's actually Roxanne or Roxie for short."
"Do they age?"
"No, but they do rust so I make sure to keep them in as good condition as possible." It was silent for a while after that while they walked. Sita led her into another room that was much much bigger and definitely had more space. "Ah! Here we are." Sita said, motioning with her hands.
