I entered Shay's room and it smelled of her, vanilla. I walked around her room touching her things and it makes me smile. I could hear her grandmother still on the phone so I take advantage of the little time that I have. I walk into her walk in closet, I touch her clothes and commit her scent to my memory, I never want to forget Shay's vanilla scent, never. Shay will always be apart of me.

I then notice a jewellery box with a beautiful ring sitting on her dresser. I pick up the jewellery box and looked at it with a snarl because I realize then that the ring was engagement ring, that asshole JC proposed to the woman that I loved, and that infuriated me, Shay was fucking mine and I promised myself I will get her back no matter what. I put back the jewellery box on the dresser and exit her room. I came across a room I assumed was the nursey for our twins and I smiled at the thought of Shay and I having our family. We will be together soon Shay I thought and no one I mean no one will come between us again, that was a vow I will keep. As I walked into the nursery it looked like it was almost finish and I walked back out again closing the door.

"Oh honey, thanks for calling I'll let baby girl know you and Daniel had head back to Phoenix".

Once the call was done I know it was my cue to leave. I sneak downstairs and leave quietly out the front door.

Three Days Later

●*JC*●

I was in the kitchen cooking my queen a big breakfast. From here on out I wanted Shay to have a stress free pregnancy that means I would be waiting on her hand and foot. Loren comes into the kitchen with Kyle in his arms putting him down on the island.

"Hi Buddy" I smile at him ruffling his hair and he giggles.

"Hi " He gives me a big smile.

Kyle held his little head down and he looked sad and I knew he was missing Diamond.

"What's up little man".

"I want mommy"

I look at Loren and we exchange knowing glances.

"Loren you should tell Kyle  Diamond loved him"

"Your right JC. He needs to know that Diamond loved him"

"So little man" Loren called Kyle gently. to see Loren with his son was a sight to see. I never thought I would see my brother the Loren I grow up idolizing back again. I smiled.

"Little man do you remember when I told you that mommy left?"

"Uh huh" Kyle nods his little head.

"Well buddy, your mama died."

I could see that Kyle had tears welling up in his eyes about to cry but instead he put his thumb in his mouth.

"Your mama" Loren continued wiping the tears from his son's eyes " Loved you little man, she never wanted to leave you but it wasn't her choice, do you understand buddy?"

Kyle nods his head.

"Why mommy die?" Kyle asks Loren and his question pulls on my heart he is so innocent I thought sadly. He doesn't know how cruel this world really is.

"Mommy died because someone took her away buddy" Kyle jumps up and hugs Loren.

"Thank you" Loren mouths to me. And for the first time ever Loren was being sincere.
