It felt like hours since Shay was brought in and rushed to surgery. I was going crazy worrying about Shay and our twins. Why won't they tell us anything? Fuck...I put my head in my hands. I then feel a hand on my shoulder. When I look up It's nana I see.

"Can I sit here darlin'?"

"Of course nana?"

Nana sits down beside me as we wait for more word on Shay's condition.

"Shay is strong JC she will pull through this". Nana says with conviction and I just nod my head.

"Finally." I grumble. I see doctor Winters coming towards us and I hope I can see Shay.

"Shay is out of surgery and has been moved to ICU. You can see her now only one at a time please".

"I am going". I stand not to be argued with.

"Please follow me I will take you to the ICU."

I follow doctor Winters to the ICU. When I see Shay she is in really bad shape. She has cuts and bruises across her face and her right arm is in cast. She is hooked up to a bunch of machines with one machine monitoring the twins heart rate. The twins heart rate is strong. I walk over to her and kiss her lightly on the forehead. All I hear is the beeping of the machines. What happened? Who did this? I thought angrily. When I find who did this I will kill them slow and painful.

"How long will she be in a coma?" I take Shay's hand rubbing my thumb against her knuckles.

"It depends on how long it will take for the swelling on her brain to go down. It could take days, weeks, sometimes months it all depends."

I sit by her bedside and intertwine our fingers together.

"You are sure the babies are ok?"

"Yes the babies are fine. Their heartbeats are strong just listen".

All I could do was nod my head and pray that Shay will come back to us...to me. Doctor Winters takes his leave, leaving me alone with Shay. I take her hands once again and kiss her knuckles. I talk to her.

"Baby girl please come back to me. Our babies need you, I need you".

I put my hands on her stomach that was carrying our children.

"Hey guys this is your daddy talking. Keep getting strong and healthy ok...daddy loves you, mommy loves you too she just can't say it right now. I love you too Shay, don't leave me".

I touch my lips to hers and leave. God help who ever did this I thought darkly.

Three Days Later

It has been three days since princess's accident and we have no fucking leads on who tried to kill her. Doctor's say the babies are growing everyday however the swelling on her brain still hasn't gone down as they hoped it would so they decided to keep her in the induce coma for now. I have the club, The Snakes and The Midnight Suns MC looking for Diamond with Tanner looking into Unknown.

I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in." I grunt.

Detective Jack Wells walks in. He is the club's eyes and ears at the NOPD. Jack has been working for the club for years now has saved this club on many occasions. I appreciate all his services and the things he sacrifices for this club.
