Chapter 10

Jude's POV

After dinner, Mom's sent everyone upstairs and took me and Connor to the living room.

"So," Lena starts, "now that you two are dating, we have to set some rules. First, no more sneaking out and no alcohol. Second, no closed doors unless there is someone else in the room with you. And third, if you guys do decide to do anything, there are con-"

"We got it," I cut her off before she can say anymore. Connor is looking down with a slight smile on his face. I can tell he's trying to hold in a laugh. "We weren't planning on doing anything. We both know we're to young."

"Good," says Stef. "But we had to have this talk just in case."

"Now that this is over," says Connor, "can we go upstairs. I want to talk to Jude. And Jesus is upstairs so you don't have to worry about anything happening."

"Yes you can go upstairs," says Lena. "But don't talk for to long. Connor's dad is going to be here in 5 minutes."

"Ok," I say, already running upstairs. I wanted to get away from there as fast as possible. Connor and I head upstairs. We walk into my room and sit on the bed.

"So you know the plan," asks Connor.

"Yep," I say. "We meet Daria at the bench and tell her no deal. Then, we walk into school hand in hand."

"Right," says Connor. We hear a car honk from downstairs

"Connor, your dad's here," yells Lena.

"Coming," yells Connor. "Bye."

"Bye," I say, giving him a quick kiss. "See you tomorrow."
