Chapter 22

Connor's POV

This week was tons of fun! We went to museums, aquariums, and hang out with Ella's friends.

On Tuesday, we went to the Shedd Aquarium. We saw a dolphin show and Jude got soaking wet. We had front row seats and he got splashed by a dolphin.

On Wednesday, we went to the Field Museum . I learned that bugs used to be bigger then me. When we walked by a giant centipede, Jude got really scared and almost jumped into my arms.

The other days we spent either, at the beach, with Ella and her friends, at the pool with Ella and her friends, or at the movies with Ella and her friends.

Now, we were getting ready to leave the house and go to the buses. Looking back at this week, I realized two things. One, we spent a lot of time with Ella and her friends. Two, this wasn't Jude's best week.

"You guys ready," asks Louise. We nod. "Then get your bags and let's go!" We grab our bags and head to the car.

After 5 minutes of driving, Louise parks the car. We get out and grab our bags. Louise goes over and talks to a guy holding a clipboard. Then, she walks back towards us.

"The three of you are going to be on bus 1," she says. We walk towards the bus. We put our bags under the bus and walk to the door. "Have fun!"

"You ready," I ask.

"Ready," says Jude. We say goodbye to Louise and get on the bus.
