Remington
Sebastian threw his shoulder into mine, causing me to stumble down the sidewalk a couple steps, as well as let out a loud laugh.
"It's not funny you piece of shit!" He shouted, earning disapproving glances from the strangers that passed.
"I told you it was too good to be true," I breathed out through my fit of laughter. Sebastian had been talking to the 'woman of his dreams' for the past four days. You see, when he told me that I fall in love to easily I decided to mess with him a little bit. Maybe I did fall for people too easily but, so did he. My face straightened at his threatening glare, "alright. Fine, it wasn't funny...it was fucking hilarious."
Sebastian slapped the back of my head, prompting Emerson to pull one of his earbuds out of his ear due to me running into his side, "Would you two quit the bullshit?"
"Were you in on this?" Sebastian asked coldly.
Emerson looked at my face, and instantly clued himself in. His voice came out higher pitched, and hesitantly, "I don't know what you could possibly be talking about."
He was such a bad liar.
Sebastian rolled his eyes, "Fuck both of you."
"Oh come on," I scoffed, "you're the one who saw the name 'Deloris Knottingale' and didn't think anything of it."
"Aw you went with Deloris!" Emerson cheered.
Sebastian let off a small smile, and an eye roll that was more playful than the one before. He then opened the door to the Starbucks, letting us walk in ahead of him.
"Remington!" A voice instantly shouted.
I pressed my sunglasses up on my forehead before turning to the blonde, and smiling brightly, "Hey! How are you?"
"I'm good." She grinned wildly, and twisted a lock of her hair flirtatiously.
I nodded my head, and accepted the hug she forced on me before pulling back just in time for Emerson to ask her a question, "What's your name?"
It wasn't unusual for me to hug someone I didn't know, as it wasn't unusual for someone to recognize us in public. It wasn't exactly an every day occurrence but, we were used to it by now.
"I'm Carmen," Carmen had her makeup caked, and it put me off because she clearly didn't need any. Her jeans were tight, but her white crop top was tighter. Something about her was offsetting but, I couldn't tell what so I smiled through it, "can I have a photo?"
I nodded slowly, prompting her to set her phone in the hand Sebastian was holding out to her, and pull me in close. She posed for the photo by kissing my cheek, which took me completely by surprise. It seemed to take my two brothers by surprise as well by the distasteful looks they were sending her direction. I wouldn't have minded so much, if she would've asked instead of just doing but, now I was sort of uncomfortable.
"Awesome," She smiled, "can I send it to you?"
"Uh- yeah sure. Of course just, tell me your instagram handle and I'll like it later."
"Right," She seemed disappointed by my answer, "I was just sort of hoping for your number."
Her smile was flirtatious, and her eyes had a mischievous glint.
"Too bad the dumb fuck broke his phone," Emerson jabbed me in the stomach, and I silently thanked him for the excuse, after deciding not to mention the fact that my phone was perfectly fine and in my pocket, "could you imagine not even knowing your own god damn number?"
"I told you," I played along with an awkward chuckle, "I had to change it again, and I just don't remember what it was."
Carmen looked like she was about to speak out of disappointment but she was cut off by another voice.
