"Oh my fuck," Austyn sighed as I climbed off of her, and laid next to her on the bed, "you're good at that."

"Is that all I'm good for?" I played along.

"Hmm, I guess you're an ok singer," She joked, "and maybe you're a little funny sometimes."

"Ok at least that's two things." I shrugged.

"Wait, I love this song." Austyn smiled, and hopped out of my bed, threw my shirt and a pair of her underwear on, and walked over to her record player to turn the music up.

The song 'Come As You Are' by Nirvana, was suddenly blasting through the speakers, and she started dancing around her bedroom, and screaming the lyrics.

"Take your time, hurry up. Choice is yours, don't be late." She yelled.

Austyn was swaying herself back and forth, completely oblivious to the fact that I was watching her with a smile on my face. Not that'd she'd care. She didn't care what people thought, and that was one of the things I loved about her. Woah. Love? It felt really soon to say something like that but, it also felt so right. I hadn't felt this was for anyone in a long time, if at all but, it felt good to care. It felt good to want to get up in the morning, and have someone to hang out with that wasn't obligated by a contract or by blood. I took my phone out, and started recording her jump and sway around the room after picking up her dog. She began singing the lyrics softly to the puppy, and eventually I couldn't hold my laughter in any longer. Austyn looked at me, and when she saw my phone in front of my face, she rose her middle finger and giggled. My heart did a backflip, and I stopped recording.

"I like the way you look in my t-shirt." I said softly as she sat back down next to me.

"Good. I'll keep this one too," She shrugged. Her scent filled my nostrils. It was a mix of shea butter lotion and a lavender perfume, and it made me sigh out of content, "your clothes are more comfortable than mine. It's actually kind of weird."

"It's ok, your's look cooler." I shrugged, and began scrolling through my phone.

When I looked up, Austyn was examining her hair in the mirror.

"Why hell didn't you tell me that I look like a hair ball?"

Her hair was in a frizzy bun, because she had gotten her braids taken out a couple of days ago. I thought it was adorable but, once again, the only opinion that mattered to her most of the time, was her's. Too bad it was so harsh sometimes.

"I love your hair." I sighed and got off of the bed to stand behind her in the mirror.

She let out a monotone hum, and I turned her around to face me.

"I love your hair." I reassured her before kissing her head.

Then I kissed her nose, "and your nose."

Then I kissed her eyelids, "and your eyes."

Lastly, I left a long kiss on her lips, "and your lips."

And I love you. I wanted to say it so bad. I wanted to shout it from the fucking rooftops but, I knew it was not the right time. I wasn't sure it ever would be, but we still hadn't even completely talked about what's his name.

"Thank you." She whispered.

I looked into her eyes, and kissed her lips tenderly, fighting the words once more, "Austyn-"

"So, did you guys think about what you might want to do for your cover shoot?"

I almost sighed at the change in conversation but, I was getting used to it. Every time we were headed somewhere serious with a conversation, the topic shifted completely.
