"I think we should run You'll be fine as the encore." Sebastian shrugged.
"But that's not out yet," Emerson said confused, "do you really think we should run a song that people haven't heard yet? I mean the studio version is the best version. We put the time in to make everything sound exactly how we wanted it. We can't exactly do that live."
"You're right," Sebastian agreed, "but, I really think it would be worth it to see peoples reaction to our new stuff, and the song will be out within the first week of tour anyway."
"Ok," I chuckled, "so how about we run Get Higher for the first week, and then when You'll Be Fine is out, we switch it?"
We were in the last minutes of rehearsal for the day, and decided to take the time to finish ironing out the set list. It had been going well but, the challenge of adding new music in was proving to be quite the challenge.
"Well then," Sebastian sighed, "that solves that."
We sat around the studio for a couple of minutes, just sitting and small talking. It was nice that we were able to do that. That wasn't always the case.
"Hey uh, I was gonna head out in a couple of minutes," Emerson smiled, "did you wanna go grab a coffee or something?"
I was grateful he had asked. It felt like it had been ages since Emerson and I had caught up with each other, and we were in the same damn house. Between everything going on with Austyn, and tour being moved up, none of us really had the chance to sit down and just figure out what was going on in each other's lives.
"Hey why don't we all go?" Sebastian chimed in.
I nodded my head and tagged along behind him to grab my jacket, "That actually sounds nice."
"Do you want to meet there?" Sebastian wrapped his coat shut, and tucked his scarf into it.
"We could just take one car," I suggested, "save on gas. Be kinder to the environment."
Emerson laughed at my teasing, and Sebastian rolled his eyes, before throwing the door open, and leading us through the parking lot to his car.
"So how's Larisa?" I smirked, climbing into the passenger seat of Sebastian's car.
"Really good actually." Sebastian focused down on his car keys, undoubtedly trying to conceal his grin.
"Aw, look at his face." Emerson teased from the backseat.
"Sebastian's in love!" I shouted.
"Stop it!" He giggled.
"Did you just giggle," I scoffed playfully before looking back at Emerson, "he did! He just giggled! Oh my god, this is serious."
"Yeah," Sebastian let out a light sigh, "I don't know but, I really really...really-"
"Do you want to add on another really," Emerson joked, "you know, just for good measure?"
Our older brother rolled his eyes playfully as he pulled onto the busy street, "You know what? Fuck it. Really. I really like this girl guys, and I don't know what the fuck to do about it. Even when she makes me mad, I still just wanna- shit just be around her. I can't imagine my life without her. It's actually kind of scary."
"You are in love." Emerson spoke softly, with widened eyes, and his focus fluttered between Sebastian and I. He put an emphasis on the word 'are' and there was a tone of seriousness in his voice.
Sebastian focused on me unsurely, and I just sent him a bright grin.
"Holy shit," Sebastian chuckled, a shocked smile on his face, "holy fucking shit! Oh my god! What do I do? What the fuck- how do I tell her- do I tell her- what if she doesn't feel the same way?"
