Remington
*Smut warning*I groaned at receiving another shake.
"Go away." I mumbled, shoving my face further into my pillow.
"Remington," Her voice rang out, "it's 2:30. I have to go to class."
"What?" I sat up confused, only being able to process about a quarter of what Austyn just said.
"My car is still at my house," She spoke softly, and awkwardly, "can I take yours to my class today, or do you want to drop me off at my place?"
"No, my keys are on my dresser go ahead," I got out of bed and threw a pair of grey sweats on over my underwear. I fought a smirk when I caught her eyes raking over my body, "I can take you for yours later if you want."
"Ok, thanks." She smiled faintly.
"Hey," I spoke softly when she turned towards my bedroom door, "maybe we could talk later too?"
I hadn't really been saying more than three words to either her or Sebastian since last night, and it was really awkward. Especially, for Emerson. He was kind of stuck in the middle of this whole thing.
"Yeah," She nodded, "or, you could talk to Sebastian."
I huffed, "Have fun at school."
"Have fun sulking." She grinned innocently, and walked out of the door.
I plopped myself down in my bed, and turned on the tv, with the intent of staying shut in my room until Austyn got back.
"Come in." I called out at the knock on my door.
"Hey," My head snapped towards my doorway, and I couldn't help but tense, "uh- I was gonna run to Chipotle, do you want anything?"
"Oh," I spoke unsurely, "uh- no thanks. Thank you."
"Yeah," He nodded, and smiled awkwardly before stepping towards the doorway. He almost made it out of my room before he turned around, "ok. Can we talk about last night, and- before that?"
I shifted on my bed, pushing myself up so that I was sitting up on the side. My hand then patted the seat next to me, "Yeah, sure."
He followed my silent instruction, and we sat awkwardly for a couple of minutes.
"This is probably the best talk we've had in years." I said, in regards to the fact that we weren't speaking at all.
"I'm sorry," He said surprisingly, "I should've checked with you guys, or even just told you what was going on at all."
"Were you ever going to tell us?" I asked genuinely.
"Yes," He mumbled, unconvincingly. I rose my eyebrows in disbelief, "I was!"
"When?"
"When it got time to pack."
I chuckled, and he followed suit, but then we faded into silence again, this time being more comfortable.
"I'm sorry too," I spoke honestly, "I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. I just lost it."
"It's ok, I pushed you, and honestly kind of deserved it." Sebastian shrugged.
"Oh I know," He scoffed playfully, "but I can't just react that way every time I hear something I don't like."
"That's actually very fair." He reasoned.
We talked on and off for a couple of minutes, every once and awhile just focusing on the show plying on my screen.
"I've never understood why you like this show." He chuckled, referring to The Office.
