royal12 oh my god hi"Alrighty folks," The pilot's voice cheered over the speaker, "we're getting ready to land in good old Boston Massachusetts."
He rambled on about different landmarks, or activities to do in the city. I sent Austyn a goofy look, and she giggled lightly before being shushed by a flight attendant. I chuckled lightly at the face she made.
"Anyways," The man sighed, "if you haven't noticed by now, the seatbelt light is back on. So, go ahead and buckle up, make sure your trays are up, and get ready to land!"
We followed his instructions, and spoke lightly to each other as the plane landed, laughing lightly every now and again. It felt easy. Like we'd known each other for a lifetime.
"So, what do you think your brothers have gotten into while we were gone?" Austyn giggled as she grabbed her carry-on.
"I'm scared to wonder," I joked, "Emerson texted and said he'd meet us at our terminal, and I haven't heard from Seb. He's probably hungover, and asleep."
Austyn nodded silently, and I followed her down the aisle of the plane, and into the narrow hallway leading to our terminal.
"I can text him. See where he's at." I suggested.
"Or you could learn how to read." I looked up at the sound of Austyn's chuckle, and followed her gaze to Emerson. who was holding up a sign that read 'I'm here for my idiot brother, and his beautiful best friend.'
I rolled my eyes as we walked to him, and I pulled him into a hug, "Thanks for the kind words."
"Thanks for not dying." He retorted.
