Remington
*light smut warning*I sat at the piano in our at home studio, messing with the keys. This is all I had been for the last week. Here, and in bed.
"Look who has decided to join the living," Sebastian smiled, and took a seat next to me, "how are you holding up man?"
"How do you think," I snapped at my brother, but after seeing the expression on his face, I sighed, "I'm sorry. I'm just tired of feeling like shit. It's been like two weeks. Shouldn't I have moved on by now?"
"Well-"
"Sebastian, I love you so much but, if you pull out an 'I told you so' right now of all times, then I will fucking kill you."
"Noted. Never mind," He sighed, and I chuckled defeatedly, "what are you playing?"
I shrugged, "Don't know. Just been stuck in my head."
"It's nice." He smiled reassuringly.
I grabbed my phone and recorded the melody in my voice memos app.
"I really am sorry you're feeling like shit though." Sebastian said sincerely.
If felt nice that he cared, even though I was having trouble feeling at all.
"Thanks Seb," I said flatly, "me too."
"Hey Rem, where's your pink hoodie at?" Emerson asked, wandering into the room.
"It's, uh. At Austyn's still." I sighed.
"Shit, sorry." He said genuinely.
"It's alright, I need to go get that and a couple other things. Actually, it's been a couple weeks and when she told me she'd burn my shit I genuinely believed her."
"Wait, what?" My brothers said simultaneously.
"Yeah, I'm actually gonna go!"
I got up, and went to find another jacket, hoping that the two I let her borrow were still intact, along with the hoodie that Emerson was a hunting down. Most of all, I hoped that I could face her, without falling apart.
I guess it was worth a shot.

I knocked another time, and she finally swung the door open.
"What- oh. Hi," Austyn said awkwardly, "what do you want?"
I rolled my eyes, "My stuff."
"It's been weeks Remington." She pushed.
"Do you have my shit or not?" I rolled my eyes as she pushed herself out of the way, and lazily gestured for me to pass her.
"Here." She kicked a box that was sitting next to her couch.
"A whole box for three jackets? Thanks you're so generous." I said sarcastically, picking it up in the process.
"I can still burn it."
"Oh Austyn, come on! Can we please not fucking do this anymore? I don't want to fight with you." I sighed.
She looked at me, and I dared the stone cold look on her face to waiver, and just let me in. Instead, she gestured to the door behind me, "Then don't."
"No. I'm not leaving," I scoffed setting the box back down on the ground, "I don't want to fight with you but, if that's the only option I have then I'll take it."
Her expression finally changed, into one of concern. I was confused but, I pushed through it.
"Hey uh- I found this ring on your- oh."
