Seven goddamn days!

Meera's been avoiding me for a whole ass week and it's driving me crazy. Ever since that heated moment in the kitchen that day, she's been avoiding me. Hell, she hasn't even looked at my face properly.

At first, I thought she was just shy after what happened. But soon I realised, she was straight up ignoring me. And sometimes when she acts like she doesn't see me, like I don't even exist, it pisses me off.

And this is one of those moments.

*A few hours before*

Karthi invited us, Rudra, Varun and me for a guy's night in, after he dropped Shraddha and Meera at the mall for shopping.

It's been a month since we all got together like this. We were all kind of busy this month and even though we had lunch at our office together sometimes, I missed these fuckers.

We decided to play dungeons and dragons since all the four of us were there. And we had been trying to order some food while we were playing. But none of us were ready to stop playing for a few minutes to place the order, out of the fear of being left behind, so at the moment we were playing on empty stomachs and I was pretty sure that I had heard Varun mutter that he needed to take a piss almost half an hour ago.

We were arguing about who should make the sacrifice and place the order when Karthi's phone rang. At first he ignored it, but then when it kept ringing, he asked Varun to stop the game so he could take the call.

"Yeah, I'll be there in five", he says before pocketing his phone.

"Sorry guys, I've got to pick up the wife. Duty calls", he says as he turns towards us.

Varun groans but he takes Karthi's keys from the key holder next to him and throws it at him.

"I'll be back in ten. You assholes better not play without me", he says as he catches the keys mid-air.

"Yeah. I'll order the food. Pizza? Burgers?", I ask as I open Zomato app in my phone.

"Pizza. And don't forget to order for them", he means Shraddha and Meera.

"I think I'm gonna take a piss. Been holding it in for sometime now", Varun says as he slowly stands up before plug walking towards the bathroom at the end of the hallway, next to Meera's room, my old room.

Rudra rolls his eyes before laying down on the couch. Karthi quickly puts on his slippers before leaving the apartment.

I order six medium pizzas, with different toppings and a large bottle of sprite. I open candy crush on my phone after, and I'm almost to the next level when Varun turns around the corner. He plops down next to me on the floor.

"Do you think I should ask her out? Darshana, I mean", he asks me and I pause.

Okay, this is a first. And was he thinking about this while peeing?

"Yeah, you're long over due. You should've asked her, like three years ago. But you're not too late, you might still have a chance", I tell him.

"I know. But it's hard, you know? She fucks with my head, man", he says with a groan as he lays on the floor, looking at the ceiling.
