Jadyn’s POV

Luckily for me Harry did know where the license bureau was and pointed me in the right direction. Once there I had a lot of paperwork to do then a couple of tests then finally I had a driving test. Apparently I had a hard instructor but once I was done with my test he complimented me and handed over my passed test! I was so excited I rambled on how excited I was until he finally nodded and politely told me to stop and get my license. Once I got my license I headed over to a car dealership the woman at the bureau said I was to go to.

At the car lot I was greeted by a man my dad’s age and he asked me a couple questions about the type of car I wanted and I finally told him I had no clue.

“Well, I am sure I can help you out. Let me think. I think we have a PT Cruiser and a couple Mini Coopers. We also have a Range Rover and a Soul,” the guy said as I nodded.

To be honest as long as I had a car I was happy with anything.

“Can I look at the PT Cruiser?” I asked thinking I would like that.

After an hour of looking at every car I finally decided on a Mini Cooper because, well, they are adorable. After an hour of paperwork and a lot of money spent I was on my way to an Insurance place and then the license bureau…Again. Although this time I was driving, not walking or riding a bus.

After I was done with everything it was four-thirty and I had the job interview at five. I typed in the address of the music store and drove where the directions lead me. I parked in front of the store and a sign read, ‘Teddy’s Music’. I got out and locked the doors before heading inside.

“Hey Jadyn! I like your new car!” Caitlyn said waving at me from behind a counter glaring at the cash register.

“Thanks. I was having a hard time deciding…” I told her honestly, and she laughed.

“Well I think you did right, Oh! Ed is in his office. Come on!” she said leading me into a door that read, ‘Employees Only’ and then down a hallway into an office. “Hey Ed. This is Jadyn; the girl that I recommended,” Caitlyn added grinning at me as I smiled back weakly.

The boss turned around in his chair and I recognized him as Ed Sheeran. If I met one more famous person I would flip, seriously.

“Hello love. My name is Ed Sheeran, I like your shirt,” he told me as I smiled at him.

“Thanks. My name is Jadyn Mattson. I moved here for college,” I informed him.

That’s what Caitlyn informed all of us. She was very excited,” he said as I turned to look at Caitlyn but saw her closing the door and smiling. “Please sit down,” he instructed before I sat in one of the empty chairs.

“So have you ever worked in a music store before?” he asked as I shook my head.

“No. But I learn quickly,” I told him.

“Don’t worry. Most people haven’t that I hire, which isn’t many. Lets see… Can you work a cash register?” he asked hopefully.

“I can,” I told him as he nodded.

“Awesome! Caitlyn can’t. I mean she gets really frustrated at it. Oh, if I hired you when can you work?” he asked as I shrugged.

“I have school on Mondays until three-thirty. Tuesdays until ten-thirty. On Wednesdays until three-thirty. Thursdays I am off and Fridays until noon. On weekends I am off. I would at least like two hours of homework time a night, so as long as I got that I could work anytime,” I told him as he nodded.

After what seemed like an endless amount of questions he finally told me I was hired and when I asked what I wore to work he laughed. He informed me it was casual and I nodded. He gave me my hours, which were the exact same as Caitlyn’s, which he also informed me on. Then he added into the conversation my pay and then some other things. He told me that I was starting tomorrow and then sent me on my way. Much to my surprise Caitlyn was waiting for me and I realized Ed and I had talked for over two hours.

“Since you got a job lets go out to eat,” Caitlyn suggested as I looked at her.

“I never said I had a job,” I told her.

“Ed already decided you had the job. He just wanted to give you an interview to make it official. So I was thinking Nando’s?” Caitlyn said thoughtfully.

“Don’t you have plans with Niall?” I asked her as she shook her head suddenly losing her happy posture.

“He went to Ireland to visit his parents for a week. He left around three,” she said.

“Oh. Then I guess we can go to Nando’s. I have never been,” I told her as she laughed.

“You better be glad Niall isn’t here he would have a heart attack because of that sentence. Will you drive?” she asked as I nodded. “Awesome. I will tell you where to go,” she added as we walked to my Mini Cooper. We got in and she instructed me to go.

I arrived at my flat at eight-thirty, tired of a full day but happy. Caitlyn was becoming a really good friend even though I had only known her three days, no four. It was funny it already felt as if I had been here for ages. After a delicious meal at Nando’s we went to get ice cream then I had to go grocery shopping so she tagged along and did her own too. We said goodbye at our doors and inside my flat I put my groceries away and started doing one of my essays. Before I went to bed I looked over my vocabulary words then changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed.

Whenever I post again Harry has a part in it (: I think I enjoy Chapter 10 a lot more then I should.. Anyways thank you for reading this much so far! You guys are the best!
