Jadyn’s POV

As much as I wanted a roommate (note the sarcasm) I really did not want a crying roommate. And that is exactly what I had. Caitlyn had been crying since four when Ed had asked that idiotic question. Ed doing the ‘right’ thing sent Caitlyn home and had me work…All by myself. When I got home there was Caitlyn on my couch, taking residence, it has been like this for hours now and it is three am now and she doesn’t seem like she is stopping anytime soon.

“W-why did I have to do break up with him?” Caitlyn asked looking at me from her couch now.

Looking at her from where I sat on the loveseat I sighed, “Maybe you thought that was best at that certain time,” I said telling her what I thought truthfully.

“You couldn’t have just disagreed with me or something?” she asked sarcastically.

Smiling I shook my head, “Sorry I am all truths over here,” I said as she sighed.

“Can I sleep over here tonight? I don’t want to be alone,” she said as I smiled tiredly.

“Ya, do you want to sleep in the guest room?” I asked as she shook her head.

“No, I have the couch,” she said sprawling out on it, then she perked up, “Hey do you have any ice cream?”

“No,” I said slowly then added, “You ate all of it.”

Caitlyn grew embarrassed and nodded, “Oh ya, I forgot, sorry,” she said as her cheeks flared.

“It’s fine, I’ll buy some more tomorrow, or today. What do you want for breakfast?” I asked as she thought about it.

“Ice cream,” she decided as I stopped myself before I rolled my eyes, of course she wanted ice cream.

“Okay, I’ll buy you ice cream, it’s four in the morning, go to sleep,” I said getting up and walking to the hall closet where I got her a blanket and pillow. “Here you go,” I said dropping it on her.

“Thanks Jadyn, you really are a good friend, I didn’t think you would have let me stay the night or whatever. You’re like a rock,” Caitlyn said rolling over and looking at me.

I’m a rock, never been called that before, “Thanks Caitlyn, and you’re welcome anytime,” I said smiling. I added, “Good night, see you later this morning.”

“Good night,” Caitlyn said rolling back over.

Sighing, I walked to my room and changed before I went to bed. This was going to be a very long couple days. My first task was to get Caitlyn and Niall back together.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-

I woke up to the ringing of my phone and groaned when I saw it was eight, why do people call me so early?

“Harry, I hate you,” I said once I saw he was the caller.

“Good morning to you too, how is Caitlyn?” he asked as I heard a smile in his voice.

“It is not good morning, maybe, no it is not even morning either, and oh you mean my new roommate? She is doing great, sleeping on the couch, she cried until four in the morning!” I said as I heard a laugh.

“I am glad you are dealing with that, I helped Nialler out,” Harry said as I sighed.

“Unsurprisingly I don’t want to know what you did,” I told him honestly, I bet it was getting him drunk or laid, or both.
