Jadyn’s POV
I saw Ed out of the corner of my eye walk in from the backroom and heard him say, “Why look who it is!! One Direction minus Niall!”
I stopped what I was doing and I thought about it. One Direction minus Niall meant Harry, Liam, Louis, and Zayn was in the store. Harry was in the store. Harry, the guy, Caitlyn keeps saying I should date. This is going to get interesting…
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
The costumer I was helping decided on three CDs. Then they headed toward the cash register with me behind her.
“Thank you so much for helping me. I had no idea what to get my niece for her birthday!” the woman said as I smiled at her.
“It is really no problem. She sounds just like my little sister who is obsessed with the same bands, so I think your niece will really like One Direction,” I told her as I placed her newly purchased CDs into a bag. The woman again smiled before swiping a credit card.
I heard British accented voices talking near the front entrance and saw Caitlyn smiling at me from across the store before I glared at her and gave the lady her receipt.
I smiled at her and said, “Have a nice day!” as she smiled and echoed what I said before walking to the door.
I saw her walk up to Ed and saw something and I looked worriedly at Caitlyn. She shrugged and fixed the display she was working on for the second time. Ed said something before the woman smiled once more before walking off. Looking around I saw four familiar looking guys talking to Ed before he dispatched himself from the group and walked over to me.
“It seems my costumers like you,” he said as I looked at him.
“I doubt that. I mean I am barely helping them!” I said as he shrugged.
“I know only what I hear. And that lady always comes in and never buys anything and you come in here and she buys three CDs? You’re a natural. I mean Caitlyn can never help her. Plus a buddy of mine comes in here and always looks at the guitar and never buys it. Guess what he did today? When I was gone he came in and you helped him and sold a guitar and it looks like you sold two guitars!” Ed said as I blushed.
“I just told him what I thought of the guitar…” I said trialing off as Caitlyn started laughing.
“Oh poor Jadyn in denial! You told the guy more about guitars than he even knew! And he is a guitar player! I mean it was a history lesson!” she said as I saw the guys look over at me.
“I’m not leaving when you are here anymore. I want to see you give history lessons. I mean I sold two guitars today! I usually sell a guitar a week! Plus people get a free history lesson. How do you know so much about guitars anyways?” Ed asked looking at me.
“The internet?” I asked as he looked at me and I sighed. “Okay, I had this huge phase from the time I was eleven until I was fifteen when I wanted to be a guitar player. So I was taught how to play by my dad’s best friend who knows all these random facts. I went to a couple concerts and meetings about guitars with my dad and his friend. It really wasn’t much. I mean I bet you know more about guitars than me,” I told him as Caitlyn laughed again.
