Harry's POV

   

    "Hi guys!" Sarah chirped as we walked up to the group at an Italian restaurant and sat in the two empty chairs.

Sarah was met with multiple dull hellos but she smiled at everybody. If Jadyn was here she would of said hello and got smiles, her presence lit up the whole room, but she wasn't here.

"Where is Caitlyn?" Sarah asked Niall, who was about to take a bite of bread, like she really cared.

"She is on a plane going to California with Jadyn. She'll be gone until next Saturday," Niall said before taking his bite.

"Wow, that must suck, I mean what if she cheats on you when she is in California?" Sarah asked as Niall looked at her.

"I doubt she will do that," he finally said as Sarah shrugged.

"So what is Caitlyn and Jadyn doing in California? Hitting up the bars?" Sarah asked laughing while nobody laughed.

"Um no. Caitlyn and Jadyn are staying with Jadyn's family for Thanksgiving," Niall said staring at Sarah's confused face. "A holiday in America," he said slowly as Sarah shook her head.

"Oh, I knew that. I was just confused on why anybody would want to go to some slut's house?" Sarah asked as chaos started.

Liam choked on his drink, Zayn dropped his phone, Louis stared at Sarah open-mouthed shock, Eleanor stared at her best friend in disbelief, and I coughed.

"Jadyn is not a slut," Louis said glaring at Sarah as Sarah looked at Louis innocently.

"She is Caitlyn's best friend, a good friend, don't talk bad about her," Niall added as Sarah shrugged.

"I mean, if she wasn't a slut, she would be here right now," Sarah said as Louis shook his head.

"Um no she wouldn't. She'd still be going to California for Thanksgiving," he said as Sarah shrugged.

"Like it really matters, i'm here now. Right Harry?" Sarah asked grabbing my arm and leaning into me.

I looked at the group and saw Liam and Zayn looking down at the table and the other three were shaking their heads silently at me begging me not to say yes. Then there was Sarah who was staring at me widely.

Forcing a smile I said, "Right," sealing the deal.

If only I hadn't said that.

Caitlyn's POV

   

           During the plane ride to California Jadyn was mostly listening to music and reading a book or just staring off in space. She didn't share the same excitment I held instead seemed like she was sad. Really sad.

"Are you alright?" I finally asked her with three hours remaining of our flight, the sun was shining through the windows.

"Uh, ya, perfectly fine," she forced out as I shook my head.

"No you're not, you hardly have spoke and you seem like somebody died," I said as Jadyn shook her head.

"N-no of course nobody have died, it's just-Nevermind," she said shaking her head as she looked down the aisle at the flight attendant who was flirting with an older man.
