Jadyn’s POV

After thirty exhausting minutes of waiting the flight attendant finally called seats. Lucky for me, I was near the end of the plane.

“Row 56-58 now boarding,” the attendant called as I stood up.

I pulled my carry-on over my shoulder and walked to the line that had been made. “Passport and ticket,” the lady said as I handed over my both of the items and she checked something then handed me my passport back. “Have a nice flight,” she told me as I smiled weakly and walked down the plane tunnel. I walked down the aisle of the plane and towards my seat. Once there I saw nobody in the window seat and sighed in relief. If I did not have a person next to me on this flight my life would be made. I put my carry-on in the overhead storage and sat in my seat. Nonchalantly my fingers tapped out a rhythm on the armrest and sighed at the amount of people still coming on the plane. ‘When does it end?’ I thought as I finally saw nobody coming on the plane. After ten minutes later the doors were closed and the ‘fasten your seatbelt’ light came on. I put mine on and the plane started backing up.

“Hello and thank you for flying with British Airways…” the flight attendant said as she continued on explaining the safety procedures.

After she finished talking she sat in her seat and the plane soon became airborne. I always loved flying and to me it felt like I was on a rollercoaster. My family always thought I was weird for thinking that.

After we were in the air for an hour the flight attendant announced we could move around and get our electronics out. I did just that. I got my carry-on from the storage compartment and pulled out my iPad. I clicked on the e-reader and began reading one of the many books I had. After three hours of reading the flight attendant came down the aisle.

“Would you like something to drink or eat?” she asked looking at me.

Looking at the cart I asked her, “Can I have a water please?”

She nodded and told me the amount, four dollars, and after giving her a five I waited for my change. She handed me a water and my change then looked at the person across the aisle from me.

“Would you like something to drink or eat?” she repeated her earlier question to the lady.

I turned back to my book and nonchalantly sipped my water. I finished my book and water at the same time and put my empty bottle in my bag. My ears started popping, a disadvantage from flying, and I started chewing gum. I started a new book and begged the pilot to go faster. This flight was getting really boring.

Luckily for me I fell asleep during the book I read and I woke up an hour before we landed. The flight attendant had been making an announcement of putting your electronics and carry-ons away, when I had woken up. I put my iPad away and stood up to put my carry-on in the department. I hated not having anything to do in the plane. I sat down and buckled up as the lady across from me decided she wanted to pester me with questions.
