Jadyn’s POV

After my class of Computers Caitlyn and I walked to my Mini Cooper, I was going to drive Caitlyn to work.

“I’m hungry. Do you mind if we go somewhere and get food?” I asked her, and she shook her head.

“I am hungry too. I haven’t eaten since eight am.”

“Where is a good place for a quick snack?” I asked her as she seemed to think about it.

“Well there is a café around the corner from the store. They sell bagels and other stuff,” she said, and I nodded in response.

I put the address of the store in my GPS and listened to Caitlyn chatter on about Niall. I nodded and smiled when she suddenly stopped talking.

Looking over at her I saw she was looking out the window quietly, “Are you okay? One moment you were perfectly fine and now you seem like somebody yelled at you,” I asked her as I heard a sniff.

She turned to look at me and it looked like she was about to cry, “Do you think Niall would cheat on me?” she asked suddenly.

I looked up from the road and looked at her for a second before saying, “No. He doesn’t seem like he would do that. I mean my sister is obsessed with your boyfriend and his friends and she never had a boyfriend throughout their performing days. I mean you are like his serious girlfriend. I doubt he would cheat on you, he seems like he really likes you,” I told her as she nodded but sniffed.

“I just. You know, he is in a different country and I am here in London. I mean he is attractive. Do you think he is attractive?” she asked as I saw her looking at me.

I searched for a good answer and finally just said, “You know, I guess he is attractive. But not my type. I like, um, a different type of guy then you do…” ‘Good answer,’ I thought to myself, it was always awkward answering those types of questions.

I saw her nod and she then asked, “Do you have a boyfriend?”

I laughed and said, “No, I mean I moved half way across the world, I probably wouldn’t have kept up a relationship. Uh, no, my last boyfriend was right before I graduated.”

“Well I think you should tell me about him. Since I just rambled on about Niall. I mean I barely know anything about you, and we are friends,” she said as I smiled.

“Well, I dated Matt for three and a half years and we broke up right before I graduated,” I said; she laughed.

“That’s it? You just broke up?” she asked as I sighed.

“Um, no, I mean why don’t I tell you about my family?” I asked her.

“You can. Just tell me about Matt,” she said.

“Fine, Matt was my brothers’ best friend. He is almost twenty now. I have known him since I was like five. We started dating right before I started my freshman year of high school. And we just became one of those couples that everybody thought was cute and adorable, yeah, know the feeling?” I asked as she nodded. “Then, when he graduated everybody thought we would break up, but we didn’t. We stayed together. Even though he went Arizona for college. We were still together my senior year and then it was a week before my graduation and my final week when he came up out of the blue. He looked really guilty and when I asked him about it he said he had cheated on me with another girl. The thing was I knew the girl, she had been on my tennis team. And that is my love life,” I said trailing off. She stared at me from the passengers’ seat.
