Chapter Thirty-One

Jadyn’s POV

            I watched in silence as a gold colored liquid splashed me on my face and stained my dress. Speechless I looked at Sarah shocked and I knew this wasn’t an accident.

“Sarah!” Caitlyn said running off to get napkins as Sarah looked at me.

“Oh, sorry,” she sneered as I looked at her and knew exactly what she was doing.

This was revenge, I was dating Harry, and she liked Harry.

Sticking out my tongue I licked my lip tasting an unfamiliar drink before saying, “Sorry Sarah, this isn’t the type of alcohol I usually drink.”

“Here,” Caitlyn said handing me napkins as I patted the liquid off my face and my dress, looking regrettably at the stain.

“Thanks,” I told Caitlyn quietly as Sarah glared at me.

I saw the boys on the other side of the room looking at us worriedly and Sarah stepped up to me, “Listen here, Harry is mine, and I get what I want,” she said glaring at me.

“Sorry to say this Sarah, but Harry is not yours, he isn’t a dog. And if you didn’t know this already we are dating, so go find somebody else to stalk,” I snapped as she stared at me in shock.

I let my curly hair down, no use in trying to make an impression, I flipped my hair and walked over to the boys.

"What happened?" Harry asked shocked taking in my soaked dress.

"Nothing," I lied as I added, "I think I am going to go home, I don't feel that well."

Caitlyn coughed but said, "I don't need a ride, Niall is taking me home."

I nodded and Harry looked at me before saying, "Okay, i'll walk you to your car," I hugged the guys and Caitlyn before following Harry outside.

"What really happened?" Harry questioned me as soon as I was next to him.

Sighing I shook my head and said, "Like I said, nothing. Sarah accidentally spilled her drink on me, I am fine, no harm done."

Harry sighed but nodded going along with it as we walked in silence until we got to my car.

"I have to go back in, we are not even close to being done. I'll call you later. Text me when you get home," Harry said pulling me in close.

"Okay," I said hugging him back.

He kissed me gently before stepping back and smiled at me, "I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked as I nodded before kissing him again then got in my car.

"Bye Harry," I said shutting my door as he waved.

I waved then started my car and headed back to the apartment away from a jealous girl.

            At my apartment I texted Harry before stripping out of the dress before throwing it in the garbage pin; no use keeping it now since it was ruined. Sighing I stepped into the shower and turned it on full heat. A shower and a good night’s rest was exactly what I needed. After an hour long shower I stepped out drying off before pulling on comfy pajamas. I crawled into my bed and turned on the TV, in seconds I was out.

            Weeks passed and soon it was the middle of October. I had been busy with school, work, and Harry. Harry was always there being a supportive rock when I needed him and when I didn't need him he was still there. After Louis' wedding we double dated five out of seven days of the next week. Niall also came to me saying he had bought Caitlyn and I's plane tickets to California and then asked if I would help plan her surprise birthday party, which took up more of my time. I was up from six to midnight every night with something and some nights it was even longer.
